I am curious to what we will do. We know there are good assistant GMs in these front offices. Gotta imagine we’re doing our due diligence to see who we can bring in

An athletic 3/4 with a handle, that's the move, that gets us to legit contender status!! We have enough everywhere else.

And Smart to stay healthy. If we can't land Ellis or someone else at the deadline. Hard to see with how hard he plays the game. Played his a** off last night.

You can see why he stays banged up too. He's a bully power forward in a guard's body.

Oklahoma City Thunder star forward Jalen Williams has been diagnosed with a right hamstring strain and ruled out of Monday's road game against the Cleveland Cavaliers.

The Thunder have not announced the severity of Williams' strain or a potential timetable for his return.

if we wait until summer, reaves is no longer tradable (why would he agree to a s&t to milwaukee instead of picking his own spot?), so all we'd be offering is immediate salary relief (that's not nothing at all) and three firsts.

not sure if that beats other offers (probably not).

i never like plans focused on single options unless you KNOW you have it sewn up. that's why i didn't like the leonard pursuit. if you knew you had him, fine. but if you just felt like you'd be on the short list...not worth losing out on other things.

It would depend on who wanted to offer Austin a big contract. Are we sure there is going to be a bidding war for him? Who has the cap space, that he may consider as an option?

I could totally live with Gabe/Kleber for Vucevic! You see how Timme opens up the floor playing with Ayton, because he's a decent 3pt threat? So make your little mini move, Dalton for Ellis, no picks involved, and keep all our assets. Vucevic is on an expiring 20M deal, the cap situation will pretty much be the same.

That's not exactly a blockbuster but hey..we added two guys that would be in the playoffs rotation, for 3 guys we probably wouldn't play at all. That's still a better squad. Now if you flip the 31 pick for 3 additional picks, we'll have Rui, Vucevic and maybe even Austin to flip in S&T along with those FRP. If we can't snag Giannis with that...f*** it.

there are a few teams with projected space right now, but the jazz and nets could each use a perimeter offensive engine and both teams should legitimately think that adding reaves could vault them to the playoffs, imo.

i'm still not a vuc fan for our roster, but yeah, i'm on board with something minor that preserves the summer flexibility unless we can get a long-term starter who's a good fit. if that's possible, trade whatever it takes.

Would Austin really want to play there? Utah is interesting if they want to get off of Lauri..Kessler? The Nets...I don't know what they have, we'd want besides Claxton...maybe. Both of those teams can absorb a S&T easily.

oh no, they can just sign him outright to a max deal and not give us anything.

utah: kessler/markkanen/bailey/AR/george is the starting lineup now.
bkn: claxton/clowney/mpj or his replacement in trade?/reaves/mann

if i were either team, i'd offer him a max.

We aren't getting outbid for Austin, by anyone though. Rob would be immediately burned in effigy

point was that if reaves could choose his destination, he probably wouldn't choose milwaukee. hell, if the clippers let harden walk, they could sign him and he wouldn't even have to move.

so, if the bucks want talent in return for giannis, they'd have to trade with us before the deadline. even then, they'd have to worry reaves was a flight risk.
