LOL. We need like 8-10 new players. If i don't see at least 5-6 new guys next season, im done. Feel bad for my boy Luka, almost as much as i did for Kobe back in the day :(

pelinka's lucky that luka fell into his lap

year after year he's failed to surround his stars with talent. thought he did well this past offseason, but i guess not

Tinker all you want , but theres not a trade or trades out there that saves this season. Best to plan for next year.

I think this is where I’m at though I could change my mind with the right deal.

I think I’d rather we just wait until the summer, clean house, get a new front office and scouting team in place and locked in, and go from there.

yeah, if you think we need 8-10 new players, then just sitting tight and waiting til the summer is the path. any trade that upgrades at all will involve taking on salary.

and not to keep beating a dead horse, but the real reason we don't have goodwin is bronny, not smart. we're using a roster spot on lebron's son, a spot that could belong to goodwin, smith, or bufkin as a more viable developmental candidate.

we need to just get out from under klutch and build intentionally. note that the trade pressure is STILL coming from rich paul. think about that, and think about whether you want to be on that train.

Oh yeah. The Klutch thing ran its course awhile back. Honestly once we felt like we couldn't build a contender around LeBron and AD, it was a wrap on it IMO. We've been clinging hold to a dead relationship for awhile because LeBron still sells tickets and merchandise.

LeBron can announce its over during the All Star weekend, get his swan song and everyone just move on. Or Rich can keep lobbing bombs from his podcast.

Either way, time to fully turn the page from this era.

Oh and I loved Goodwin and didn't want to see him go but I understood signing Smart and I'm honestly not as low on even Bronny as most are.

But, I'm just kind of over all of it.

We're here now. Just clean house and move forward.

Sincere thanks for Luka and AR. Walter will take it from here.

If there's no miracle this season (WCF type miracle), Rob and the entire FO is gone. Good luck in your future endeavours, contact Nico for some tips...

our team +/- is an indication of who we truly are as a team. We are mediocre, barely above .500, but with some good closers.

Good teams will smoke us most nights, but for sure in a 7 game series unless we have major changes. But like so many people have pointed out, are we better off waiting until the offseason, let Lebron walk or resign on the cheap, and then make our moves.

I've supported LeBron and think he helped pull us out of the ditch we were in, but even I am completely over the traveling circus.

If its going to be a year of Rich tossing grenades at us, then I will pass even at a lower price tag.

Maybe we find out AR needs to be out the rest of the year, and we offer to trade Bron to a contender for some assets and expirings in exchange. I'd listen.

I’m more than ready to jump off the Klutch train. At this point they’re more disruptive than helpful.

Lakers could make trades that set themselves up for next season. For example, Claxton is better then any rim-running center that will be available in the draft and unrestricted free agency. Trade for him now and build chemistry with Luka, while also making the product more entertaining for viewers.

I like Claxton and wouldn’t be mad at a trade for him at all.

I really think there's a chance we end up with Kuminga in a few days. He fits the description of the type of guy the "insiders" have indicated we may be willing to move a first for - an athletic wing in his early to mid 20s that can be part of a Luka/Austin core for the next few years. He's a weird fit next to those two and LeBron, but it's been made pretty clear at this point that we're looking past LeBron. I think the Warriors want MPJ, so it could be a 3-way trade where we get Kuminga, Warriors get MPJ, and our/Warriors matching salary goes to Brooklyn.
