@abeer3 I think Dallas playing better is just they put Flagg at his natural position and not playing PG plus AD is actually playing lol. Not really convinced that AD at C was the key here

I just go by my eye. Scouting 101. Thiero shows extreme great athleticism. When he gets in games. He jumps out at you. All I want to see is the potential. I’ll take care of the rest.

I saw the same thing with Jermaine O’Neal Shai Gillis Alexander and Jalen Johnson.

Let me let yall marinate. I saw Jalen Johnson at Duke. The kid jumps out the building. He will work on all the other stuff the shooting.

Abeer makes great points. What you want today is athleticism. You have to have it. We have to have it.

our team is built around Luka and Reaves. Two extremely gifted offensive players who can’t defend. Lebron is done retired. We have to look. We were gifted Thiero because of a freak knee injury. He’s raw. But he has the tools.

Look at OG and pascal. OG couldn’t shoot s***. I know. I had him on my fantasy team. Steadily got better and better 4 points a game to 12 to about 16. But you see the athleticism.

this league is about the 3 Wing

    Anthony Edwards

    Jalen Williams

    Jalen Johnson

    Jayson Tatum

    Jaylon Brown.

we can’t get around it. We need a guy to defend perimeter D.

on Kobe’s runs for Paul Pierce we had Metta

on Kobe’s run for Steve Smith Scottie Pippen and Peja Stoyakovic we had Rick Fox

so we have to get our guy. Herb Jones is great. Yall know I’ve wanted him. But he’s hit his floor.

Thiero can be great. When LeBron retires you give this kid 35 minutes and let him run with Luka and Reaves. You know what you have??? A Shawn Merion. A guy that can guard 1-5 if he has to. And a guy who will finish on the break with Dunks. The 3 pointer will be an adventure. That’s why I said 1,000 3s corner 3s everyday in practice. I gotta see his work ethic. I’m guessing it’s great.

I’ve seen guys get there. Crash Wallace Gerald Wallace. Some of yall don’t remember him. He became a near all star.

so it’s doable. See you don’t need guys who have to hunt shots around Luka and Reaves. You need guys who can get it other ways. That’s Thiero.

You know what Raw players become. Shai

you don’t trade Shai for Paul George.

you don’t trade Scottie Pippen for Olden Polyncie

but if we were in 1988 somebody would say If I can have Olden Polynice give me him.

now look i compared him to top 75 players. But you get my point. Shai was raw but you could see him developing.

As we build this team around Luka we have to have the right players around him. We don’t and won’t have lottery opportunities. So when you get lottery talent you gotta make sure you keep it.

and with OKC this is a long game. We gotta stack as much young talent as we can.

San Antonio. Kawhi had no jump shot when he came into the league. I saw his workout I think he missed every shot in there. But he had the build. Thiero has an nba body and he’s young. As he starts working he’s gonna get better and better.

we have an opportunity. Jones does alot he can really be a great addition. But who’s to say that maybe we have an Ellis with Thiero??? Look at Kaminga he was rough raw more developed then Thiero but not the best offensive player shooter. It comes.

And sometimes you get a workout in a NBA game. That’s all guys do in workouts is go one on one. So when I saw one of the most efficient scorers the best James Harden not know what to do with Thiero on him at a crucial part of the game. I was like ahh s***. He knew what to do when LeBron had him. But this kid it was like wait I’m doing my dribble he ain’t budging step back nope.

that’s a big deal. It showed me a lot. Watch the tape s*** post it here. I know the coaches noticed it.

Do the Grizzlies not have their own G-League team or developmental system? :D

Just putting it out there if LeBron played football he’d look like D.K. Metcalf.

yeah, that's a fair point. several variables at once. i still think that once AD stopped being a reliable shooter from midrange and put on some weight, he became a full-time center. that was about year 2 with us.

This is my whole thing with Herb. The media and lots of fans are speaking of Herb Jones as if he were the same guy he was two seasons ago. He's not. I dont even know how much he moves the needle this season. I'd rather save what limited trade pieces we have to trade for someone really good.

Watch Miami get Zion on a discount price and then he blossoms under Spoelstra

He’lol blossom like Jimmy Butler did at the end there.

Remember, LeBron left Miami because Riley didn’t allow cookies on the team plane.

    This is a business story.

    Buisness

Main Street sports missed a payment for their T.V. Deal.

this is a big deal. You have a major nba broadcast partner missing check payments.

This affects the Clippers Hawks Hornets Thunder Grizzlies just to name a few.

Main Street sports owns Fan Dual Network.

if the Dazn deal doesn’t go through teams are f***ed. NBA will pick up payments. That’s what is going on that you aren’t hearing about. These other teams have issues with TV partners. Companies missing payments. What is this 1975.

The Los Angeles Lakers is the one team not affected with their TV deal with Time Warner getting paid 192 million annually.

    well interesting stuff.

yeah, that's the AD that could steal some minutes at pf with a bruiser center that started halves. i'm just not sure that AD was still around when he (and some of us, myself included) were thinking we should try it again.

Apparently the Wolves are taking calls on DiVincenzo, I’d be interested in bringing him in. He’s making $12 million this year and $12.5 million next year.

Very smart perimeter defender, can handle the ball, can hit the 3, not bad in transition. He would improve our team instantly. We should inquire.

    One small problemo.

    Way over quota already.

We do that, and Luka gets NO CALLS for the rest of the year. We have to ask ourselves if that's worth it.

What about a player that plays like he’s a quota dude?

like that little dude Cardio Gabe from Miami who’s been stealing our money for years. Soft, fragile, overpaid.
