if aaron gordon is a "big", lebron's a "big".

vuc does not have the same level of lateral quickness on d as rui. that is a wild claim. wild.

knicks don't play robinson and towns together. they start anunoby at pf.

again, the only successful team playing two bigs together is houston with adams and sengun (and even then, they've gone away from starting them together). memphis sometimes played jjj and edey, but...not super successfully.

other teams that people will claim play two "bigs" play two "talls", one of whom is a "big" and the other is just a really tall forward. these guys (mobley, holmgren, jabari smith, etc.) can all shoot the three AND defend out to the three point line but also rebound a little and block shots.

if we add vuc, who's doing that? none of ayton/hayes/vuc are, that's for damn sure.

Pray for Jason Collins. He’s going through it. Stage 4 Cancer. He’s fighting. Local kid Harvard Westlake. The Collins twins were it. Before the Lopez Twins in North Hollywood. These were the best twin big Centers in the Valley.

Reading the Chris Paul article. The Clippers did him dirty.

actually when I mentioned him signing here. That’s what I was talking about intel on Devin Booker and Shai Gillis Alexander. He got the best out of Ayton. Gives LeBron a dominoes buddy. I know he’s intense.

But that’s a guy who can get under somebodys skin defending. Even at his advanced age. Him and Smart together.

yeah, i said that if we moved gabe for help elsewhere that cp3 wouldn't be a crazy add. he's going to be on his best behavior at this point. i know it would upset the fanbase, but he's somehow still a plus player at age 40.

What was with those articles, or is it just one that I imagined only several years into his career, about him having meniscus or some kind of knee problems? Then poof next fifteen years nothing.

Would not upset me one bit if we could get him to play the Gabe role.

At this point it would be good to throw Paul out there to piss Alexander off or Booker. I mean he does it even Edwards.

he’s good at being a OG like udonis on Miami.

he can still give you 8 points. He’s good for 10 minutes in games.

    and was Reddicks boy.

yeah, word was his knee was bone on bone way back. could be that he just shoots it up like a demon.

btw, if that's the case, he probably had some issues with kawhi, lol. dude won't play through a hangnail.

Exactly … I remember reading “bone on bone” way back then, and yet look how long he has played. Don’t understand that at all.

Getting Ellis would be like the Kiki acquisition for the Dodgers a few years back.

Like several have said, the plan of improvement is simple:
Get better defensively by adding youngish POA defenders who can also shoot.
I think we will have to make a trade or two at the deadline and then make the big splash this summer by packaging several guys to send out for a prized 3 and D.
I don’t know if there’s a top level wing who is going to be an unrestricted FA this summer.
We will need to add two wings: either two mid level or one mid paired with one top level wing.
Ayton and Jax seem to have secured their nexts contracts with us and I’m fine with that.
We have no use for LeBron next season. He’s not worth a good game every third or fourth try. Plus, he can’t stay in front of anyone anymore, and shouldn’t be expected to at his age. If we are planning on being a bottom tier defensive squad again next season, then sure, let’s bring back the old man.
