I'm not Japago, and I' don't agree with all his takes, but with Reaves, I mostly can see where he's getting at with the potential complications.

Now? You want to tell me to GTFO? Not so nice. You're now the "VP of the Reaves fan club," and I'll tell you this: in a seven games series, your boy will get f****** wrecked in a 7 games series defensively. F****** wrecked "defensively." We can take his injured a** and trade him to another team where he can get his stats and it can result in a fantastic lottery position.

    IDGAF.

Not if he's slotted properly on defense, NOT having to take on POA duties. You're so dug in with your agenda on him being this completely crappy defender it's ridiculous. Maybe not this year we have that guy to take on POA in the starting lineup, but we'll get there. You can bet your a**, or bet me against it, Walter isn't going to trade him to fill holes in the lineup that aren't his fault and lose his overall talent for an expected salary STILL below his market value. You make him sound like Chucky Atkins out there.

reaves has been as good or better than devin booker on defense for their careers, and he's been better than booker on offense for the past couple of years.

should phx trade devin booker for herb jones? you know, for the seven game series?

I can see Reaves getting wrecked in a 7 game series defensively… but… what if… Rooves’ plan is to never let it get past game 6?

LOL …. what other takes? His anti Reaves crusade is pretty much all he ever posts about, and pretty much word for word with stuff you say here.

And here you go again with an anti Reaves proclamation, ignoring he HAS gotten better, somewhat, at the least, with the added strength and weight (when properly slotted … not POA). Just like you came in start of the season mocking the idea he could do anything of consequence on offense when tasked to be the number one offensive weapon with Luka and LeBron out. Especially with all those mean long and athletic defenders keying on HIM. To which he went out and made you eat your words in multiple games.

As well you basically called him a stat padder at that same time which was really jumping the shark. AR the ultimate glue, jack of all trades and roles team player. And here you do it again with the, “another team where he can get his stats” remark.

attacking a beloved, homegrown, allstar-level player is a strange hill to die on. it's as if you're banking your whole rep on a failure that would disappoint everyone that follows the team you claim to like. being skeptical is one thing, but screes about "wait til we just get murdered in the playoffs" is not a thing i understand. it's sentient meat-esque, for those that were around for that bit of wizardry (moral--careful where you pin your whole forum rep).

Reaves will be doing the wrecking. We get to a game 7 I like our chances. I get where this comes from though. I've done it before with LeBron. You say one thing that might be legit and then you add something and then something else and next thing you know your just spewing nonsense. I've stuck my foot in it more than once and likely will again. It is best to just acknowledge it and move on...lol.
