i think the clips endgame with these signings is to finish as high in the standings as possible the next two seasons so that OKC doesn't end up in the lottery from the picks they traded to them. they know they're not doing anything in the playoffs (if they make it) with this retirement home lineup

derozan fits in because his contract is up after 26-27, which is also when kawhi and harden come off the books
