Sacramento would be a good spot for Morant, I think Memphis would take Sabonis. Ja, Lavine, Murray and Ellis, that's a pretty solid perimeter foundation. Then they'd have Monk and Derozan to dangle for a big.

Did last night's game give us a glimpse of how good we could be with a rim-running big and an excellent perimeter defender who can hit threes? I know there are question marks regarding Hayes and Smart, but that archetype in the starting unit seems to translate to entertainment and winning. Ayton was out, and I knw he has been produvtive for us, but he is not the rim-runner Hayes is. He has the ability to get lobs easily, but it doesn't seem like his preferred method to score. They seem to like to pick and pop with him, playing more to his strengths.

Welp, no Luka or Reaves tonight. Love having 26 year old stars that we sit for back to backs for no real reason.

the nba needs to just ban back to backs already. or at least make it so that it's only home teams playing them

    this s*** is ridiculous

Or, professional basketball players could just play basketball two days in a row.

The players and teams deserve as much blame as the league for this. Imagine telling a 26 year old Kobe that he was going to sit out the second night of a back to back to “manage” a bruise on his leg. Imagine selling that to Phil or West.

yeah, i don't get this at all. just conceding a loss at this point for this reason is bizarre.

    no we're not, apparently.
