    Hope they don't get badly outclassed on Sunday... Loss on MNF, short turnaround, morning East Coast game, all that.

    I know Jeanty is getting shat upon, and some are blaming usage. But there's a story to tell here.

    NFL Broken Tackles leaders among running backs.
    1. Jeanty 7
    2. Hampton 6
    3. Cook 5
    4. Robinson 4

    Best Break Tackle Rate among RBs with 20+ Carries
    1. Omarion Hampton 6/23
    2. Jeanty 7/30

    Jeanty so far
    55.3 PFF Grade (34th among HBs), 93 snaps, 36 plays, 84 yards, 1 TD, 9 Broken Tackles, 75 Yards Added (Yards After Contact + Yards After Catch), 79.2 PRWT.

    75 of his 84 yards are yards he has ADDED.

    Raiders (1-1) at Commanders (1-1)The Commanders improved by 8 wins last season behind new QB Jayden Daniels and new HC Dan Quinn. After a big win in week 1, they stumbled to a loss against the Packers. Injuries are severe this week, and the teams are primed for a showdown between mobile QBs with ties to the Raiders.
    The Raiders' Brock Bowers was slowed in week 2, and he was limited to light practice all week. Add starter Jeremy Chinn to that light practice group. JPJ was a full go on Friday. All are ready to go. Decamerion Richardson is questionable with a hammy issue.

    The Commanders are hit far harder with injuries. They'll be without their starting QB and a versatile RB in Austin Ekeler. Daniels has accounted for all the passing stats on the team, and he and Ekeler combined for nearly half the team's rushing yards.

    The Raiders' secondary will be tested, with Deebo Samuel, Terry McLaurin, and Zach Ertz all capable pass catchers. The Commanders' defense has struggled a bit against the run, so it's an opportunity for the Raiders to start opening things up for Ashton Jeanty. Their offense is second-worst in the league, at least in terms of PPG.

    After opening as 7-point favorites, the Commanders have seen their edge slide to 2.5 or 3 points.

    Commanders: 57%-win chance
    Prediction: Raiders 17, Commanders 20

    About as bad as the game can start for the Raiders. Huge kickoff return. In the hole.

    Back-to-back Laube runs on third and short. That's awful.

    It is not looking good for the Raiders. They're at a 5-win using the Pythagorean calculations. Yikes.

    I will give you some perspective. The Raiders did a thing you can never do in sports. They traded for a no man’s land Quarterback.

    That is what Geno Smith is. Hello 7-9 that’s who he is. They struck with Rich Gannon thought they could do it again.

    Geno had productive seasons in Seattle but he’s been exposed and figured out. He’s not accurate and inconsistent. He threw out of Bounds for Brock Bowers last game.

    sure he takes chances but is he productive???

    Pete Carrol is a no man’s land coach not winning a Super Bowl with him. But he’s not interested in developing guys. You better win or you ain’t playing.

    The only sure fire hall of famer all pro bowler they have is Bowers. On defense Crosby.

    Kolten Miller isn’t the tackle he was before. And I don’t know what happened with Jackson Powers.

    How can you run a chip Kelley offense with no Lamar Jackson type or Jaydon Daniels Quarterback? That would be great but you don’t have that. You have Geno Smith.

    Brady looks like the Michael Jordan of football. He’s a hall of fame Quarterback. But decides it’s not a good idea to draft Sheduer Sanders and let him develop with Jenty and Brock Bowers.

    just dumb. Must of been Mark saying don’t draft him. He medles. Sheduer has some Brady to him he gets the ball out quick and it would be perfect him in the dome with his arm.

    Now It would’ve been good to get some young Quarterback talent. I think O Connell is a bust.

    maybe they can look at Mac Jones.

    They’ll f*** it up. One guy I like for the Raiders is Avery Johnson Quarterback Kansas State.

    And first round pick I would draft Malachi Lemon wide receiver USC. He’s a stud reciever. Would help.

    Now Jeanty I think you have a Marshawn Lynch Marshawn was bigger thicker.

    I’m gonna say you have Emmitt Smith Jeanty can do everything he runs hard. He just needs an effective offensive line. That line is getting blown up. Mark Schrelleth said they get destroyed.

    Carrol has got to feed this guy the best 15-20-25 touches a game. Let him get going it will help them.

    and not allow guys to be over the top spying on Bowers being a rover.

    overall this team is nothing but a 7-9 team. Pete Carrol Antonio Pierce. Doesn’t matter same team. This team needs a Quarterback.

    They should’ve hired Harbaugh when they had a shot. But Mark Davis was too busy fan boying over John Gruden.

    I wanted the Raiders to Hire Dan Lennonig Oregon University. You need a culture setter. A young guy who connects.

    Your next Coach will be Jesse Minter when you hire him away from the Chargers.

    Carroll looks like what the f*** did I get myself into.

    Raider fans let’s have an honest conversation. Why did your owner not draft Jalen Carter??? And draft Tyree Wilson? Carter is the perfect guy Al Davis would’ve drafted. You know why??? Because he’s shook. He doesn’t know what the f*** he’s doing. So you let him get to Philly. I saw Jalen Carter I said Sapp.

    Carter did f***ed up s*** at Georgia with the drag racing. And Davis was thinking Ruggs again. I don’t think this is the same thing.

    Definitely bad decision making.

    so you didn’t draft the best run stopper to put next to Max Crosby. And guess what? You can’t stop the run.

    But this is the Raiders where Fabian Washington is better than Aaron Rodgers.

    and Jamarcus Russell is better then Calvin Johnson.

    but I was so happy they drafted Brock Bowers. They didn’t f*** it up. But they could’ve.

    Is the season over already?

    Bears - Toss Up
    @Colts - Loss
    Titans - Win
    @Chiefs - Loss
    BYE - Raiders enter the bye with 2-3 wins.

    Jaguars - Loss
    @Denver - Loss
    Dallas - Win
    Cleveland - Win
    @Chargers - Loss
    Raiders are 4-7 or 5-6 as they enter the home stretch.

    Denver - Toss Up
    @Eagles - Loss
    @Texans - Toss Up
    Giants - Win
    Chiefs - Toss Up
    Raiders have a chance to finish strong. If things are clicking, they could end up at 9-7. I think 7-9 is more realistic.

    I don't think you're wrong here. Smith is here as a stabilizing force while the team finds that QB. He raises the floor. He's not going to be at the helm of this team when (if) it becomes elite.

    He does seem to love vets. Hard to argue there.

    I'm not sure I agree with the sense that you need a QB like that for Kelly. He ran with Foles and Sanchez. He also only had a good running QB in two seasons as a college coach. That said, Smith is on pace for the most rushing yards by a QB on the Raiders since Pryor in 2013! That's more a testament to how bad their QBs have been in the running game though.

    Jeanty has had 17, 14, and 21 touches. I would love to see him catch the ball in space a bit more. I don't know why he's off the field in third down situations. Laube isn't a good pass pro blocker.

    There is no cohesion at this point especially the O-line. 7-10 was my prediction. Hope we can top that but...
