Nope. I had to turn it off after hearing Rivers claim that MVP awards are “stats.” No, the Regular Season MVP trophy is meaningless. It’s a popularity award. I’m not going to list the years in which Kobe was the best player in the NBA, again, but it was at least 8 straight seasons.
Honestly, I'd do it. Reaves gets paid $30 million next season so his value isn't as good as it will be the way it is based on salary purposes. Interesting to see how any team stops a LeBron, Luka, Zion, Ayton, and Smart lineup. The size alone, despite poor shooting, would absolutely overwhelm teams.
Zion and Ayton with Luka, damn (plus another guy after Bron goes bye bye). I would give it a serious thought...
Zion stops himself every season by his unwillingness to take his fitness and career seriously. I would only sign this dude as a vet minimum. Throwing away our second best player(when LeEgo bounces) for a dude who plays 30 games a season, would be more disastrous than the Westbrick trade.
Not interested in Austin for Zion. I am interested in Zion as a buy-low 2nd star candidate after LeBron retires/moves on to pair with Luka and Austin.
I’d rather hope the best version of Ayton already here and happy so continuing to be that version …. happens?
i think NO says no, but i also think we probably don't even offer. i'm definitely intrigued by luka/reaves/zion together, though, and i don't know that it's impossible, either. some things would have to break certain ways...

yeah, lebron's 40. the numbers are starting to bear that out, and if we don't turn him into a horford/draymond type, it's going to get uncomfortable. if he buys into that, we could be SUPER dangerous.
more like: bron, you're the center now for 20mpg. you'll defend the other team's post and set high screens for pick and pop or pick and roll. and we'll win like, all of those minutes. i've said this many times, but i always thought lebron's late career would have him playing closer and closer to the hoop on both ends, but instead he's getting further on offense and seems very reluctant to play center on defense. both are disappointing to me, as his strength is wasted and his waning speed is made more problematic by playing on the perimeter on defense, and any possession where he handles the ball out top is letting the opposing defense off the hook (seriously, i think teams bait us into iso-bron plays that aren't in the post--they want this from us).
