It was interesting that Avidja wasn't really on Luka all that much - maybe too easy to use a PnR to get him off Luka in the internatioal game.

 

guessing they couldn't risk foul trouble? it's not like avdija could even bother luka anyway. this guy has jaden mcdaniels and a second defender sent after him and is basically unbothered.

 

My thoughts were more Avidja is a legit good defender even for the NBA so I would have considered letting Luka go against your best defender and not the rest of these bad Slovenian players who looked like they got a bunch of wide open looks. The soft double they were running: luka just ate up

Israel looks bad so I think the bigger reason was probably they needed to keep him fresh - he had 30 plus points like Luka so I suspect it was more the foul and we have to run the offense thru him deal anyways.

It's actually been fairly good. He is definitely moving a lot better. The numbers he is putting up is unheard of in Euroball. There is a reason that was only the 5th triple double in euro history. He has said several times that the NBA is easier than the euros due to a few rules and the spacing.

I've been watching these games just getting psyched for the season. We are going to have a great year. I think an MVP and a possible championship could be in the works.

I just did a circuit style workout with some guys this morning. After going through each of the 12 stations for three times each, at 1:30 per station, we did a relay race. Two teams of five guys. We ran about 20 yards, then dropped and did ten pushups, and ram back to tag the next guy. All but two of us were doing half pushups. Of course, I was the anchor against the fit dude who runs the workout and he didn’t even do full pushups!
