We've seen a lot of movement, even aside from Beal. In today’s league—especially with the influence of social media—attention spans are short, and things move fast. We're often on to the next headline within minutes. That said, I agree with your point regarding where the remaining free agents, or "scrap heap," might end up.

As for the results, you're right. But the process matters too. Achieving the best outcomes usually stems from a strong foundation—doing your due diligence in drafting, investing in player development, and continually evaluating your front office. When those processes are sound, the results tend to follow.

Washington has two fat expiring contracts on their roster in Khris Middleton and CJ McCollum. My guess is they try to flip these two for a second round pick to a contender by the trade deadline, but if they can’t find any takers they are prime buyout candidates.

Middleton especially is past his prime but I think he can still provide a contender a solid 20 minutes per game as a 3 and D wing. McCollum was still playing good ball last season and was the most productive Pelican. I would love to have him as a super 6th man scoring punch off the bench.

I think there is a bit of a wait because Beal is getting bought out. Beal’s the best free agent out there and a 30m per year player you can get for peanuts. Horford is also waiting to sign somewhere. Smart might get bought out or Brogdon, or Middleton. Kuminga may get traded.

It’s a game of musical chairs, so until the top domino’s find their spots, everyone else is in a holding pattern. There’ll probably be a flurry once players start getting slotted into their spots.

In other news I saw on The Athletic Paul George hurt his left knee in an offseason workout and just had it scoped. So both Embiid and he will be rehabbing coming into camp. Not good Bob!

Lakers get CJ Mcclomb there’s no way he’s coming off the bench. Would be perfect next to Luka catch and shoot shooter. He’s still good. One of the best guards in the league.

10 points for Bronny in the 1st quarter. I hate seeing these other guy just jack up shots. You know it’s bad when the commentator has to tell you to pass the ball.

I would tell an owner these guys don’t realize getting noticed is making the right basketball play. Not ball hogging jacking up shots going for yours.

Rice??? There’s no spacing out there. Knect has no where to shoot the ball. This isn’t him. This is the guys he’s out there with.

With LeBron Luka and Ayton he’s getting wide open shots all day.

Thank god we never got PG or Kawhi. As the saying goes…. Sometimes the best trades are the ones you don’t do. Too bad that didn’t apply to Westbrook.

Yall need to chill on the 3-D wing thing.

Hiero Aou is a stud. Looks like OG and Ron Artest. We got a starter.

I’ll give yall a little preview from the Dodgers they get rid of guys that they don’t pay when they got younger guys coming up that can do what they do.

I think the Lakers got rid of DFS cause they knew what they had out of Diero very strong. Junk yard dog.

I’m telling yall. Athletic. Lebron needs to shut his trap. Cause this squad has a little bit of everything.

I’m more than confident that these guys can get it done. I’m more than confident that this guy can guard perimeter wings.

but with Aou and Bronny James coming off the bench that’s alot of young defensive energy. Legs.

the fact that we didn’t trade anything or give up anything acquiring Ayton is amazing. We have such a deep squad. Guys who can play defense.

    Inside scoring Ayton

Perimeter scoring Luka LeBron with the depth. This team can very well look like Kobe’s 2010 Lakers.

Al Horford still hasn't signed, he was expected to do so with Golden State last week. I hear we are still in play, that's a perfect locker room guy, that unlike Kief, can still hoop. I'd take him ASAP. I'd be interested in Ben Simmons too, if we can do a 2 for 1 trade with somebody for another piece. Horford, Simmons, trade piece..let's eat!
