Some of us had to miss it to watch the Dodgers soil themselves against the one scum sucking team they should go all out to whip during the regular season.
Know nothing about him but did you see the first half? Am really wanting to compare Bronny to how he finished the season after all his working out like everyone else to get better. Hands up on D and how’s he doing there? Handles, any more apparent body mass or impression of strength …. usual stuff if we’re hoping for him to possibly see any rotation or limited rotation minutes?
He looked pretty good- only got burned on D once in the post by a taller player. His hands haven’t been up enough, though.
He played maybe 11 minutes. His body looks the same. He had a great dunk where he got pretty high. Drained a couple threes and missed one. I need to see more of him on the floor to be able to judge any real progression.
If he keeps it up, I definitely think Bazely will earn a camp invite and from there who knows especially if we make some trades and end up having an open roster spot or two. I really like what he brings to the table
Offensively, he’s pretty good, but I’m not sure if he’s good enough defensively. That’s where we really need help on this team.
Meanwhile we got this bum out there Bum was hyperbolic. It's only 2 games and it's not even the real summer league. BUT man, I've hated everything I've seen except for the final minute of the first half today. He stretched together 3 good plays -- 2 offensive, 1 defensive. He's lucky Swider has zero speed, athleticism or defense otherwise, he'd easily take his job as our shooter. Can't get excited about any of Swider's offensive numbers cause we've seen this tape before. That's his only trick and everything else is sub-NBA level
I agree. I think we have needs on the roster we have to fill first and need a consolidation trade, but as a 3rd string F, I like what I've seen. Definitely worth a camp invite. Really like the functional athleticism. Has the ability to rip and go. Knows where to get to on the floor on both ends. Little sloppier today but felt like we were wanting to see what he could do as a point forward. See, I think he's a better defender than offensive player especially without that 3 ball. Looked better overall defensively in the first game but we had him against Ware some in the one today and that was a mixed bag.
More players should kill their egos and just do what they need to do to establish themselves and then built from there.
Agree Put things in perspective and work from there Hard when you have had all those accolades all your career to now But important to get your foot in the door NBA is a level beyond anything they have seen so far
