This place is looking awesome! Thanks to everyone who helped build this place! It's very comforting to finally transition to a new board with dedicated people in charge of it. I was always worried that CL would just abruptly die one day forcing us to move to one of those other boards. Nothing against LG or TLN, but the members here have much better discussions.

I understand that, I'm just commenting on initially getting all of the CL members over here.. Taking the time to edit their profile & give them their original CL join date & post count is usually helpful in this transition. I've witnessed it with many other forums. Some of you know my background.. I've been in internet marketing/affiliate marketing since 2006. When I first started out 1 of my biggest successes was a large forum I owned that ended up with over 1.4M registered users & 260K unique visitors daily. I'm not big in the forum/seo game anymore as there is much more money/faster money to be made on social media/mobile/paid traffic these days. I don't say this to brag, merely to point out that I have a lot of experience on the subject & any suggestions I make are backed by factual evidence. I wouldn't suggest anything to Barns & company unless I have a pretty good idea that it will benefit the site.
Welcome everyone. This website has a lot of potential for growth, and if we receive good feedback, we can actually implement most of that stuff. I know I am looking forward to it.

This looks awesome. I'm not a vet so to speak with my 2000 posts but hopefully you get everybody over here. Really refreshing and good work. Is it somehow possible to get those old smileys? Kind of a stupid question but they were always linked to CL for me haha And is there a plan for a Multimedia sub-forum or do we just puts that stuff in Lakers discussion (if it is laker-related). Like backstage Lakers from Cachooka Man etc.?
This is one of my favorite features of the new site. I post mostly from my phone, and while CL works fine on it, this site works like it belongs on it.
This site looks great, glad to see all the vets here. The mobile friendly aspect is icing on the cake too, loving it.
There'll be a spot specifically for CaChooka videos and other such content. If it's not up right now, it's on it's way.
Hey guys, I wanted to drop in and congratulate you all on a nice website/forum. I've been a member at CL since 2006, although I'm more of a lurker than an active participant. Anyways, like all of you, I've noticed a drop off at CL, but I'm certainly hopeful that this will actually take off. In the meantime, I'll try my best to transition into being more of an active participant. It's just that sometimes it's very hard to find time unfortunately. Cheers!
I actually just tried this on my phone and tablet, and yes -- it looks like it was made for mobile devices. Really nice!
