Yeah Rui is pretty solid. He's a starter in many teams in the league. Just a bad fit in our current roster. At least not the other wing you need to play with Bron. I think we may extend him, tbh, if we don't trade him this offseason

It's actually a bit weird there aren't teams after Rui. He would be great in Milwaukee. Or Miami. Minny if they trade Randle. Spurs. Knicks. Detroit. Just off the top of my head.

It would be great if some team was a buyer of Rui instead of us being the sellers. Hopefully some team believes in his market value so we can trade him as an asset they can use down the line and we don't have to give extra.

On a different scale but I have him as AR. If the league isn't valuing him correctly, I would keep him and extend him.


It should be mentioned we were a top5 team post Luka trade in the reg season. We have flaws in the roster that get exploited in the postseason, but we don't need to solve them all right now. If we run it a back, I have us as a top 4 team in the West. Then near the deadline we can do the moves we need to the postseason, if we can't get good deals until then

no, rob was involved. the deals i'm mad at magic for, magic himself basically claimed responsibility. it wasn't rob pointing fingers after the fact. it was magic, gloating about terrible moves. i can specifically remember him talking about zubac/muscala. you don't want him to get heat, he should stfu like rob did.

agree fully. useful player, high character guy, plays up to his contract. not moving him unless it's a clear upgrade or he's making unreasonable salary demands.
