DLo makes a lot of sense for them. Playstyle closer to Kyrie than some of the other candidates, can already play well with AD and Christie, can play a huge role until Kyrie comes back, then go to the bench.

Mosgov and Deng would be good signings right about now.

I'm curious about Wiggins if he's trade value is low. Not sure what's the framework of a trade for him. Only interested in a buy low

    some stuff floating around:

supposedly holiday isn't happy about being moved to portland. might have guessed this, but it's worth monitoring. i'm sure we're interested, but i bet the clippers will get in the bidding, too. and again, portland ain't helping us.

very curious to see what boston's going to do and how ainge-ish stevens is. what i mean by that is that the smart move is probably to sell high on brown before you start paying the super max for a guy who's very clearly a second guy, imo. if someone will give you a reasonably priced second guy or a haul of picks and prospects, you have to consider it. that said, this is your homegrown finals mvp, and moving him isn't a great look.

i think the tatum injury actually gave them cover to do some things they wanted (i.e., get out of the holiday extension) but would be very unpopular with fans (and players watching from the outside). like, holiday delivers you a title, is a great citizen, and you ship him to portland before you have to pay the real bill. cold. something that could cost you future AD pursuits like your isiah thomas stuff cost you the actual AD. but they get to chalk it up to tatum's injury this time. will they push it and move brown or white?

more generally, the stuff JSM posted in the now defunct thread has me thinking we'll probably have to just reserve the tpmle and hope somebody good misses out on the cash. if teams are still silly enough to be offering schroder the full mle, it's going to be slim pickings. that it's the kings looking at schroder is just chef's kiss. meanwhile, they're hoarding my guy keon ellis only to crowd their backcourt, devaluing everyone in the process, classic kangz.

the NAW to atlanta is classic "wtf nba FA" stuff, btw. at least one of these things happens every year where it's like...ok, but you know that's going to end up in a trade in 8 months...

It’s almost as if those who want Ayton here have never seen him play. It looks like when he’s on the court, he’s being forced into it.
No passion, no motor, like an alien doing an impression of what a NBA player should look like.
    I don’t get it.
Don’t even try to sell me the “Luka will turn him into a near All Star” junk with this dude- nobody’s buying.

Meh...You probably haven't seen him play much either. On the flipside, a dude that has averaged a double double, for his entire career, while shooting 60% from the field, without even trying? He must be hella talented, to do that with no motor etc etc.

At 26 years old, that looks like an outstanding reclamation project to me. Hell yeah, Luka is going to make him look better, look at Hayes

spin what? that our team immediately got 1000x better the second we made that trade? or one guy's opinion about free agent rankings (btw, that list is whack all over the place).

what i don't understand is why you're on about dlo when we actually won with him and defend russ despite his contributing heavily to some of the worst times ever to be a laker fan.

    Mavs frontrunner for DLO

That makes the CP race between us and Clipps, Dallas was the only other one heavily rumored with him.

According to Jazz beat, we're still interested in Kessler

i think some teams are going to get luka'd* by us again before the year's out.

*we're going to get a better player for less than we offered for their inferior player.

Who in their right mind wants his injuries and contract? Beal swap? Beal has one less year on his deal.

Such a s*** show of a franchise. Thought they were turning it around the year they overachieved. But they just can't help themselves.

Just going to rotate through all of the wings in GS?

It takes two to tango, and it's hard to get Ainge to dance, but I'm glad to hear Rob has offered multiple picks. I'm guessing it's our 1st, pick swap, and our 2nd. Surprising that Knecht's name isn't mentioned. The guy who issued that report is pretty connected to the Jazz FO.
