We would have gotten more if we missed the playoff this year, at least a better pick, unless we don't have a 1st rounder this year....lol
We threw in the towels. The Wolves wanted to let us win this game too, but the team already made their vacation reservations.
I knew from the beginning that Lakers will lose series, you all forget how they barely escaped basically same Minnesota team in play in without all their injured stars and Lakers still had AD ,Ant is only got better after last season . But I am disappointed in JJ not wanted to even try to play more traditional basketball even with s***ty bigs that we had So yes I am upset that Lakers lost ,but I am glad that version of small ball were exposed and hopefully we will never see it again
gobert beat them by himself. funny that it took until the last game to truly highlight how badly the lakers were lacking a big man
From Kevin O'Connor "The Timberwolves shot 7/47 from 3 tonight, the worst 3PT% (14.9%) in NBA playoff history when a team had at least 34 attempts. Minnesota missed 18-straight. For perspective, Houston shot 15.9% (7/44) in its infamous 0/27 Game 7 loss. The Wolves shot worse but pulled out the win."
Welp...giving up 18 offensive rebounds, while being outrebounded by 17 boards overall. That's not really all that shocking, is it?
You see numbers like that and then you see the following -Lakers signing Len and the KEEPING him for the playoff roster -JJ subbing in Gabe once DFS fouled with Lebron/Rui as your centers -hints that the organization moved on from AD because he was begging for another big Makes you wonder about the competence of team building across all levels of the Lakers organization top to bottom
