We’re going to see Maxi I’m convinced at some point and yeah he’s a big wide body with skills we need.
1) He'll be the best shooting big who can play the 5 at spurts 2) He can't be worse than Alex Len 3) He has no trade value right now. Perhaps a few good games could boost it up. 4) He is familiar with Luka's game I'm not expecting much but Lakers could use the extra body
All of this. The thought of going into the playoffs with only one functional big in Jax was concerning to me.
The sad thing is, if Kleber can come pack and play 20 mins a game, that’s probably the difference between the WCF and a 1st round exit. That’s how desperate we are for another rotation player, especially one that’s a big.

The fact that first time he and his teammates were on the court together was in this game and that he was STILL our best available big should give Rob all the info he needs about what priority #1 has to be this summer.
Is there a 24 yo Maxi Klieber around? But seriously, I never thought Klieber was a big dude when he was with Dallas but with all the small ball he looked huge out there. He would be ideal for next year lol
well, iirc, dallas picked him up around that age (maybe a little older) from some random german league. so...probably? at his best flashes, that traore guy on our g-league team was a little maxi-ish.
