Would be a good idea to win Game 3 because the early Sunday start doesn't look promising for Bron old legs and our "have to spend more energy" small ball lineup
yeah, good point. if there's a playoff scheduling loss, the 1.5 day turnaround on the road is it for us.
Minnesota is not a dominant Home team. I think we even the series this weekend. I'm ok having to play this brand of ball, as I think it prepares us for round two with Houston. I don't think GS advances if Butler is hurt. Houston is solid, and playing against the best defensive jugglernauts of the West is good preparation for OKC in the West Finals. There are levels to this, and I like the odds of our Big 3 if we make it that far to give OKC fits.
Well, we are playing against one of the biggest, most physical teams in the league. It should be a good preparation for whatever comes next. If we manage to win it, of course. I honestly feel Denver would have been an easier match-up for us this year, compared to Minny. We go there to steal one and get our HCA back, and considering Luka is one of the greatest road playoff performers in history... I feel good about it.
Oh, i agree 100%. I will be surprised if we make it through to be honest. Luka will do his job but AR and Bron (on offense) has to step up.
Houston isn't getting past GSW . Butler will be fine and Warriors will have a ton of FTs at home after all their crying about the Rockets physicality .
Going off memory and not data, but I feel like most of our road struggles were (a) earlier in the season and (b) against weaker teams. I could be off here, but I recall us playing well on the road against playoff teams and then letting up against the bad ones.
We had some inexcusable losses, but I do think we are a different team now. Yes, we had some stinkers even since we had Luka, but some of it was incomplete squad while we managed injuries. For some reason I'm more confident we will win one on the road than I think they will steak another one at our place.
I hate those records.Hopefully it's not broken today. Lakers won 10 games in a row starting at 2006 when series is tied 1-1. 2023rd: 127:97 vs «Golden State ». ✅ 2023rd: 111: 101 vs «Memphis ». ✅ 2021st: 109:95 vs «Phoenix ». ✅ 2020th: 112: 102 vs «Houston ». ✅ 2020th: 116: 108 vs «Portland ». ✅ 2011th: 100:86 vs «New Orleans ». ✅ 2010th: 91:84 vs «Boston ». ✅ 2009th: 103:97 vs «Denver ». ✅ 2009th: 108:94 vs «Houston ». ✅ 2006th: 99:92 vs «Phoenix ».
Their younger legs and transition game could be a problem. However, if Jimmy can come back and be 85%, I don’t want to see them.
