It is shocking how Fiscally responsible we are being. Always a risk giving guys a "chance" that have "potential" but that is still better than woefully overpaying guys to possibly play better.

I'm leaning towards them drafting Jeanty at 6. A lot of chatter has convinced me he would be the can't miss guy and would give us a true RB1 to pair with our offensive weapons.

I wouldn't hate it if we drafted him, but I'd prefer to trade down and pick up a WR, DB, and RB in the first three rounds.

I just think this draft is deep with solid RBs.

I get that too. Im gonna be good whatever these guys do to be honest. But, like Brock, the word is called generational with this kid. If he is that we would have TE/WR Brock and RB Jeanty for a long time on the offense

Wow. Raiders tried to trade Jack Jones. Couldn't find a taker, so they cut him.

I'm not really surprised. Last season Jack turned into more talk than substance. He was one of our weakest players on defense. How many games did we lose with blown coverages? In the end, I really like the kid and thought he has some serious potential but he doesn't have AP to protect his shortcomings any more.

We def need to pick up some CB's now

He's just not a tackler. He's like Tyrann Mathieu without the guts and coverage ability. lol. He does have a knack for timely plays, but he blows too many assignments. He has whiffed on 14% of his tackle attempts in his career. Yikes.

I watched a podcast that kinda said what I felt like when it came to him... He CAN tackle but chose biz decisions a lot last year. When AP sits you then you know its pretty bad. Those Oley tackles with the one arm and the, as I call it, "where'd he go" man coverages def won't be missed. 14% is horrible especially for someone with maybe 1 guy behind him if he misses.

I'm going into a 5-round mock with the intent of trading down. Here we go.

1.6 Jeanty is on the board, but Atlanta is offering 15, 46, and two futures (2nd and 4th in 2026). Hard to pass on that.

    1.15 Matthew Golden WR*
-Projected to be a good starter w/in 2 years
    2.37 Benjamin Morrison CB*
    -projected to be average starter
    2.46 TreVeyon Henderson RB*
-projected to be a plus starter
    2.68 Jaxson Dart QB
-good backup w/ potential to be starter
    3.108 Lathan Ransom S
    -will eventually be average starter
    5.143 Jordan Phillips DT
    -average backup or special-teamer
    Also picked up a 2nd and 4th for 2026

So, if we passed on 6 to get two starters and future capital, we could also plug another starting spot, pick up a potential QB of the future, and two backups in the first five rounds. I'm getting excited.
