Is Jemison hurt? He of course haas big holes in his game but he looked like a dude who could get you 10 minutes a game at C, getting boards, setting picks Small ball isn't great
well that was tough to swallow. Horrible finish. Def expect better from Bron to finish the game. Ugly loss.
**** LeBron. You lost us this game. Do better. You make so much money to just toss this game like that? What a wasted 3rd quarter and great effort game.
The last 2 weeks have made me sour on this team. I don’t like them. Believing they’re better than they are and the effort shows it. Not staying up late anymore to watch this lazy squad prepare for a 1st round exit.
Wasted masterclass by Reaves. What hurts is it was at the hands of Lebron, arguably the best player on the team. Oh and also that ankle isn't going to feel better tomorrow.
How do you guys not get emotional over a loss like this? Like I just imagine all of you are just so indifferent about wins/losses. I wish I could be like that, but honestly this loss has ruined a lot of things about today/tonight. I’m still just as livid as I was the moment the halfcourt shot went in. I don’t think I’ll get over this until they win again, whenever that will be…
Ultimately it’s just a game. If this were the playoffs against a team I hate or in Finals against Boston my weekend would be ruined, but it’s a game against a loser team that plays is like it’s their game 7 of the finals, a franchise that hasn’t won a title since Jordan, so they’re irrelevant. But yeah, just a game in the end, it’s entertainment. I try to do other things after a bad loss to distract if it bothered me, go shoot some baskets, play a video game, listen to some music, watch a good movie, hang out with friends or family, that’s what’s really important. I used to get more hurt by this stuff, but ultimately it doesn’t matter in the grand scheme, have to try to look at the big picture if it affects you that much, it’s truly not healthy if it’s that bad. I’m not indifferent, it sucked, but it’s one loss of 82 games, I’ve seen hundreds of losses over the decades, hell probably in the thousand plus range really.
I think God just loves the Chicago Bulls lmao. 11-14 from 3 in the 4th. They're going to be dangerous in the playoffs. Let's hope they knock off the C Bags. I guess the law of averages came for us. Win by a buzzer beater, Lose by a buzzer beater.
Remember the TMac explosion against the Spurs? This game has replaced it in gravity of last second choking
I played tennis professionally. Tennis is a losers game, where you can’t get too high or too low. Even the best win around 52-55% of points. What’s important is the habits a team builds for crunch time and the ceiling a particular group has. Our ceiling is very high, top 5 offence and defence kind of potential. Our habits aren’t so good, we’re not particularly consistent day in day out.
Still cannot get over how we lost this game. Straight up choke. Like worse than a choke. Seeing the pacers beat wiz by 53 on the road after losing to us last night at the buzzer IS the type of ish i want to see from this Lakers team. But, we’re the Lakers, and we don’t really do “revenge” like that… so fat chance. Even LeBron, coach, and Luka said it all postgame, move onto the next game in Memphis without letting the loss affect you. But on the flip, just look at what Indy did man, I want us to be more consistent, more intentional, more organized, but i guess it will just take more time, or a bit of better personnel this offseason? But imagine if the Lakers ever won a reg season game by 53 points? We’d prob be talking for days…
