this is the issue. the fatigue will breed more fatigue. you want that week off. i don't care if we finish 6th. but 7th/8th is kind of a death sentence, imo.

I'm thinking Rui, playing in the starting lineup the way he was playing before the inflammation gave him his "jumper's knees" issue was MORE important than it seemed at the time, while all the small ball defense still had enough energy. That's a huge hole to fill. DFS can't score like that or give teams the problems Rui can at 100%. Especially since Rui's D was looking better and better as the season went on and HE could step up and guard Big guys when needed.

    stole this one

AR almost lost us the game, kept bricking every shot, and had that awful turnover that gave them the lead.

    Wiiiiiiiiin!
    What a game!
So glad we didn’t choke that one.
At times, we played very good defense tonight.

Why did Doncic pass is to DFS? He needs to shoot the midrange man. That Rui blocked dunk, AR To, ughh. Was a good Laker game till those brain farts

Still getting better. Lebron and Rui look like dudes who had long absences and slowly getting better

1 of 8 from 3 pts, bricked a few open ones in the last minutes of the game

If he had made those, this wouldn't have even been competitive

he missed two wide open threes down the stretch that each would have probably ended the game, then had that bad TO. he was getting beat routinely on defense, too. just not his best game. i didn't see the first half, though--he must have been good there.

but this game was a lot more of the same stuff we've seen recently--switching defense doesn't work if every single guy on the floor (except gabe, god love him) gives up easy dribble penetration. every. single. guy. even DFS. pacers got whatever they wanted in the second half. the one time that sheppard turned it over, i thought carlisle might choke him out, as had he not turned it over, they'd have certainly gotten a good shot. because they did. every. damn. time.

and that's not scheme, btw. there's not a string jj can pull that makes guys just...not get blown by at every opportunity.

anyway, thanks rui for hitting the two open threes, and thanks lebron for tapping that one in, but we didn't deserve that win at all, and i don't feel better about things going forward this season despite getting an unexpected win.

btw: i normally defend luka's whining, but tonight, he was begging for ticky tack stuff, imo. just convert the shot and/or run back on defense. the refs called that late foul on him out of spite. and he's not wrong that it's the same call they weren't giving him, but he needed to read the room at that point.

Reaves get impacted by fatigue quite a bit in his career. Numbers nose dive when he's tired. He doesn't miss games but you lose in his perfect

Did that pop up on you somewhere or did you actually remember that and go looking for it? I’m guessing the latter with that “memory”?

We won a game on the road against a team on a win streak. Kudos..teams aren't supposed to lay down when the Lakers come to town.

I remember another buzzer beater at Staples, and Lakers or pimple don't matter lol actually lost to Pacers

“I wish we would have been a lot more aggressive, continued playing with pace, and also being organized and continuing to move the ball,” Lakers coach Darvin Ham said. “And that falls on me.”
    Typical Hams excuse
