I got it from nba.com, I might have copied the wrong thing and got the In season tournament tie breakers because I always believed it was conference record
On NBA.com which I barely read Lakers have tiebreaker over the Denver , and that's fine with me lol Lakers move into No. 3 via tiebreaker with victory vs. Nuggets
Our record in conference is top notch. Healthy we’ve got as good of a shot as anyone to make the Finals. OKC may be the chosen one with their unstoppable flopper, but besides that, everyone seems beatable.
3 back to backs, but the overall section of the schedule is MUCH easier than the one we just wrapped. Those two Houston ones could have a lot of implications. Curious to see if OKC is still playing NBA players at that point or if they're resting their guys/not wanting to give us too much tape for the playoffs. Chicago, NO, & Portland need their losses for draft purposes. We should go 9-4 to close it out. Speaking of Houston's schedule:
Too inconsistent to do anything because of the short time to create any chemistry with all the injuries
Still in 4th, 1/2 game back of Denver but we’ve played one less game and have the tiebreaker. Houston has righted the ship after struggling for a while and now has a 2 game cushion for the 2 seed. Still very possible we can finish 3rd with OKC and Denver on the other side of the bracket, which would be a pretty nice position.
I dont think the team cares so long as they’re above the play-in. After either the Nuggets or the Bucks home games someone asked Austin something along the lines of what they needed to do in this last stretch of regular season games. Luka said from a few lockers over “rest”. I think they’re exhausted after this recent stretch and just want to get to the playoffs.
