    Yeah... I pointed that out in the GD. Dumberson outdumbed himself. Especially if he was kidding. It was not apparent.

    Lakers win a BTB against SAS, 125-109.

    Man, it's good to have our star back! His last 4 games...

    28/8/3
    37/8/13 w/4 steals
    28/4/6
    30/7/6

    ...talkin' Austin Reaves here.

    Luka was good tonight too. They trapped him and he dished: 14 dimes. 1 for 7 from long, but ya can't have everything.

    What went Right:
    We shot 49%.
    D F-S was 4 for 8 from long. He does that in the playoffs and we're good.
    Masked Goodwin: 4 for 8 from downtown. Gabe: 3 for 5, bombin' from deep.

    We had 13 steals.
    I know: Spurs are w/o Wemby and Fox, but you still have to beat an NBA team w/nothing to lose. Tonight, 76ers were in HOU w/o 11 players - all their "name" guys - took a 78-57 lead at the half and lost in an OT thriller. Grimes had 46. Hood-Schifino had a wide-open midrange look for the winning shot in regulation and couldn't knock it down. Man, I was pulling for him.

    It was kind of a crazy day in the NBA. Everyone says The Joker is everything to DEN, and if he doesn't play they're hopeless. Well, they rested him so he could be fresh for...checks schedule...the Lakers? Why am I not surprised?...Anyway: Nugs went into San Fran to play the can't lose Warriors...and beat the Warriors by 9. DEN also rested Murray. Because of course.

    Lakers were up 10 after 1;
    14 after 2;
    19 after 3.
    Spurs won the 4th by 3. Pfffft. Took care of biz.

    A day of rest before DEN. Man, this schedule is brutal.

    I love how Luka has absolutely zero fear of teams. He plays against Denver like he's playing against the Jazz or the Wizards

    Luka decided in the first Q that this was not a real game. Then Mikey called 22 timeouts. Good job!

    14 games until the season ends... hopefully enough time for Rui, Bron, and everyone else to get healthy.

    Not too worried about the seeding. As long as the Lakers are top 6 and are healthy, I'll give them a good chance to contend for a title.

    Some players are heating up at the right time... DFS starting to find his groove, Reaves is playing good efficient basketball, Gabe has been automatic recently, and Luka is starting to get more comfortable. Add in a healthy Rui and LeBron... It's going to be interesting to see the LeBron-Luka dynamic in the playoffs.

    Lakers 120; DEN 108. It wasn't anywhere near that close a game.

    What a weird game. We beat the livin' crap outta DEN...then relaxed and DEN cut it to 12. Then we beat the crap outta them again. Then relaxed and DEN cut it to 8. But this was in El Tiempo de Garbage. We were up 30 at one point. 'Nuff said. We won. Split the season with DEN and I for one look forward to hearing cheesy lispy dip**** Malone talk to the press after we win our 4th game against them in the playoffs.

    Luka had 53 points in the 1st quarter. At least it seemed like it. It was not a "statement game" 'cuz Jamaal and Joker were out, but we were Bron 'n Rui-less and it felt at times like we were playing a G-League team that had Aaron Gordon.

    What went Right: the 1st Q.
    We were 9 for 14 from deep in the 1st Q. Which was effing nutz.
    DEN gets their fans' hopes up with a run in the 2nd: we dashed their hopes by pushing it back to a 20-22 pt. lead.
    13 steals: 4 from Goodwin; 3 from Vando.

    What went Wrong: bench got a lot of mins and had a really tough time scoring in the 4th, but then again I think everyone had half checked out of the game mentally after we beat DEN 32-18 in the 3rd to make it look like total garbage in the 4th. Which it was.
