49 wins will get us the 6th seed for sure . We have the tie-breaker over Warriors and up five in the losses column when it comes to conference record against Sota . Not sure Sota is losing more than 3 games the rest of the way though , very easy schedule, only 14 games left and 2 B2B
The Switch finale to the Bait with the relatively easy start to the season with the back to backs being just f*** you Lakers.
I think Bron, Rui and Jax are all day-do-day at this point. So, if they can come back soon, were in good shape and will live with these few losses. Not a huge deal.
GSW won 7 in a row and 14-2 since Butler trade Denver lost to Washington LoL Malone didn't care after he beat G leaguers and Austin
When we are healthy I agree with Perk. Unfortunately the injury bug struck just when we were cementing that spot in standings. Looks like realistically we may fall down to fifth or sixth with Lebron and Rui still out and having like 9 more back to backs. Well, we'll see. Even if we do end up there it's ok. Just don't drop down to the play in please.
Our last 10 days of the regular season are vs. Pelicans, @OKC, @OKC, @Dallas (b2b), vs. Houston, @ Portland. We might get a little lucky with the Pelicans and Portland probably in lose out mode, OKC locked into #1 and starting to rest some guys, and Dallas maybe also trying to fall out of the play-in mix. Would make up for this hellacious stretch of 6 in 8 nights with a ton of injuries.
Most of those games are very winnable. OKC has nothing to play for. If they are smart, they are going to rest their key guys to avoid any potential injury. As soon as Bron and Rui come back, we're going to surge. Hopefully, the team will have 10+ games together in order to gel before the playoffs.
winning both games of this b2b would be massive games look winnable on paper, but as we've seen with this team there are no gimmes. portland and pels aren't as bad as their records indicate. no excuse for not winning both mavs games though, considering the mavs literally don't have enough players
