Oddly enough that's something he does from time to time. Not sure why. He is definitely getting back into playing shape. I don't think he is done from that calf injury. I think it's the Mavs front office trying to sell a historically bad decision. Not to knock AD, Luka is just 6 years young and has never been a serious injury concern.

Absolutely he could be better about diet. I'm hoping Bron helps out with that part.

He actually ended up having a good game. But we just did not have enough to beat them on their court.

He was pretty bad till the 4th I thought.

Tatum and Brown picked on him and he got too happy with the 3 and passing. Unlocked for him when he started attacking the basket.

Moving into a leased home? Does that mean he’s renting it or he’s living with renters? Lol

Does this concern us about an extension? Because he didn’t start with a buy?

He sucked , meaningless stats out there . Midrange is the name of the game against a great defense .

He gave up a lot on defense too

No. There’s thousands of people with money whose homes burned down and are looking too. Interest rates are up, he’s getting taxed at the highest rate in the country now at his level too from nothing in TX. So all of that it’s going to take some time to look along with all the others and find something he likes enough first, with limited time to do it.

I wouldn't worry about that. Luka is extremely loyal. I expect him to retire a Laker.

He's still getting into basketball shape. He still isn't quite there yet but just wait. You give him a couple of weeks and he's going to start doing some crazy stuff. Once he gets comfortable with the system and in full shape it's going to get fun.

Yea I thought he played okay. I thought his big issue was that Boston was allowed to beat up on him all game. They had some really clean picks on him cause he sometimes has a lazy dribble but a few of them he was clearly fouled. In fact, I thought Boston as a whole got to pretty much beat up on all the Lakers (especially Horford on Austin) but this the Luka thread so I'll stay with him.

I wouldn't say he had a good game but he had some bright spots. Boston is a tough team and we were not able to match their physicality. Luka got burned a couple times on defense and some bad choices on offense really hurt overall BUT I still think it wasn't a horrible game by him. hopefully the back will be better next game.

Luka struggled defensively and he really struggled to get to the basket until the fourth quarter. To me it clearly looked like he was not 100 percent on both ends of the court, but give him credit for battling through and he pretty much was the main reason we came back in the game and had a chance at the end.

Luka is really good and we aren't seeing him even close to 100% yet. Someone said it above, come playoff time we will be seeing some amazing things.

Absolutely agree. His efficiency will go up, his TOs will go down slightly (although he will still cause turnovers, it's unavoidable with the way he plays).

After watching him now for several games as a Laker, I’m starting to understand why he complains a lot about the non calls.
The dude gets hacked A LOT and because he’s much bigger and stronger than most ball handlers, he doesn’t get all of the whistles when he gets butchered.
It’s starting to piss me off.

@abeer3 When was the last time you considered Luka was "fully" healthy with the Mavs ? Thanks

Luka is talented enough to play without being healthy. The Lakers need an off season to add important pieces and have a training camp under their belt.

Lakers fans are gonna likely have to accept this year might not end with a title but they will have plenty of resources to upgrade once the season is over.
