not even sure what you do next year, as ACL injuries typically take a year for the player to be back to himself, right? sometimes longer? i know i saw that kyrie is supposed to be back by december, but it won't be kyrie at that point.

that team has basically no shot creation without him. spencer dinwiddie can't carry you.

 

they've got a g-league guard (williams?) who's played well at times. but it's dinwiddie, that guy, and...who knows?

i suppose that they can maybe sign a placeholding scoring guard in using the tpmle next summer, but they're in trouble.

sucks pretty hard for AD.

 

ACL: not sure Irving at his size, age and the way he plays is ever going to get back to his

I would quietly ask for a trade if I was AD - no reason at this age he should be in a situation like this

 

A soon to be 33 year old small PG now with an ACL tear? Unfortunately, we may have seen the least of Kyrie as a Top 20ish guy. I wonder if they make the desperate play for Durant as some have predicted, or go the other and trade AD by next year's deadline? Hard to think of a worse month for any fanbase that what the Mavs are having
