That guy was born to be a coach. Can count on one hand the coaches who I've heard giving pep talks and critique to their teams and wanted MOAR of it to listen to.

JJ is getting a lot of a bunch of G league guys like Goodwin, Jemison and has a team who has one legit NBA center named Jaxson Hayes number one in defense. That's got to mean something in term of quality of coaching on multiple levels

Absolute masterpiece he's been doing. He got the team's buy in to his system, that's the biggest win for a coach and a precursor of great things for the franchise. The way we play excellent basketball with many lineups with Gabe, Hayes, Goodwin, Jemison playing heavy minutes it's absurd. We won against a fully healthy West #6 seed with literally Bron and Luka as the only starting material NBA players. Makes no sense lol absolutely unbelievable job in just a few months. JJ is special. Can't wait to see this team with a proper center
starting to think that a) redick never thought we needed a real center (despite what he said), and b) he's using this period to drive home that point. i could be overthinking it, though. either way, this guy has the goods, both in terms of strategy and in terms of "soft skills" leadership. really think this will be the first coach we don't fire within three years in a long while.
