Rui has his flaws when it comes to impacting winning but he definetely scores more when the stars are out
The best Lakers frontcourt lineup is 3 wings .. Lebron and DFS are the two keepers , it's Vando or Rui depending on what we need
Yes and should be … he’s playing really well and no guarantee he would continue at that level if off the bench, while as JJ specifically said, DFS is consistent either way so he’s not changing anything for now.
He's in a really nice groove. The amount of easy buckets he's about to get under the rim and from corner 3s...he's going to feast. And he's still got pretty good chemistry with Bron
Hats off for battling his a** off on the boards. 20 rebounds in a 24 hour span. For him, that's HUGE! Typically that'd take him a week to rack up. The missed FTs against Charlotte hurt, but that's another story.
I was not a huge fan of Rui but he has proven me wrong. Big time minutes by Rui and has been for the past two months. Dude is showing up and playing efficient basketball.
Plays better D, hustles, rebounds the ball. That's what we want to see. Had a little scare there with the back spasm, but was able to come back and that is great to see. He's young, he'll be fine.
Fantastic game from Rui. Against a team he's had problems against previously. He was ready for the Joker assignment. Then finally found a groove with his 3 ball in the 3rd Q and cooked
Has THE flattest shot I've even seen. Hearn would describe it as a "frozen rope" if Golden Throat was calling games. Looked like he pulled a back muscle in the game.
I mean a 6'8 guy who can't take a rebound in 36 minutes can be criticized . He had a good game in others areas though
Dude was using his body to stall an irresistible force…that was a Rodmanesque defensive performance and found a way to score 21 along the way, expecting him to also rebound more is just asking for too much
