VanderWilt with 14 rebounds. This guy is my favorite Laker. He's like a modern day Rodman with the intensity and tenacity he brings. Never hurts to have a player like that on a championship team.

interesting where he said "lebron's been leading the team all year, and we follow his lead". i agree. and i think the uptick in energy and effort lately is related to lebron playing with more energy and effort than he did for large chunks of the year.

Wow, what a difference guys like him and Dorian make... incredible. Vando brought a ton of versatility and he plays really hard, always gives his best.

    Now, just stay healthy.

Vando as a backup 5 goes hard in a switching scheme. He is grabbing rebounds and then switching out onto Steph Curry as the POA defender - just super tough.

If he can stay healthy, he adds another defensive gear to our team alongside DFS.

Keep his minutes down as much as possible to preserve him for the playoffs

i think he is ideally just a 20mpg player. as folks have harped on, he can be schemed out of certain situations on offense, but just having him out there for 10 minutes a half causing havoc everywhere is enough.

the luka excitement and blowout win hid the first "meh" game from vando. i can live with the airballed three, but he also got backdoored for a dunk on the other end. wasn't quite standard vando last night.

To be fair, I feel like Vando isn’t as good as he has been since he got back. I mean he was single handily turning games around, locking players down or helping extend leads. He is probably somewhere between this and that.

Unless he really is that good and we have Dennis Rodman impact for 20-24 mins a game.

i actually think he is that good, svtzr. when we first got him, i remember thinking: we got a skinny rodman!

his energy, hustle, focus, and instincts are all top notch. but his body betrays him, and he just has very little eye-hand coordination.

but as i said above, he's skinny rodman for 15-20mpg. actual rodman was 20lbs heavier and could go for 48 at that pace. nothing like that guy right now.

closest thing is ironically that sochan guy in SA, who with the dye job looks a bit like SA rodman, lol.

Yeah, he was quite forgettable with so much going on and that's a good thing based on his play.

He'll get the chance to redeem himself with DFS out tomorrow, we'll at the very least need him to captain the defense vocally. Hopefully we put them away as quickly as we did last night.

His impact has been immense since he got back. If this is what we should be expecting, then he has incredible impact in the same way AK47 did.

Vando is 8-0 this year. Just absurd the impact this man has.
Always a net positive in the +/- in each game and a total of +128 in that span. Unbelievable
