    What a disaster of a NBA career. Sure he can contribute and be a great value for TPMLE or a vet min, but we're talking about a #1 pick who was highly touted. Only other #1 who was bought out in his prime, that i can think of, was Bennett in 2015.


    Again, why?




    Unfortunate, thought he'd be a decent fit for what we need. And he went there. Yuck.


    No idea what they're doing here in ATL. Glad we have Luka, otherwise Trae to LA this summer would've been very loud.

    honestly, we should probably pull for the clips to sign ben. he's basically a net negative on the floor now. they'd have to do some significant rehabbing of his game that nobody else has managed yet.

    i get that they revived batum, but i feel like that was different. simmons hasn't attempted a three point shot this season. not sure how that will work for lue. or kenny atkinson. i guess if your plan is to play him at backup center?

    people forget simmons was a legit AS caliber player his first 4 seasons

    the chronic back issues ruined his career and he clearly has had some mental/confidence hurdles as well

    yeah, he was really good. his case of the yips is among the worst i've seen. the injuries didn't help, obviously, but i think it's the mental part that's really crushed his career.

    That 2018 Sixers team with Simmons/Embiid/Covington/JJ/Saric/Belinelli was a lot of fun. I thought they were going to be battling Boston every year for the East.
