Carr looks to be healing and on point to be fully participating in mandatory drills. Good news... Our stable of corners looks solid by all accounts.
Rai..deh bits: -Carr raving about Cooper and Crabtree -Richardson shed pounds, looking quick -make a play for Jason Pierre-Paul?
one month away from pre season http://www.raiders.com/news/article...56278164402670&adbpl=fb&adbpr=117307284966434
Damn prognosticators...have us between 1 [worst] to 4 [best] wins. I have us at least 6! Trent Richardson drawing not so positive reviews... Rod Streater on the IR [again].
yea i think Helu will get more touches than him this year..i see it being a Murray-Helu combo and in other news, reports out of Cowboys camp is Darren McFalldown is injured again
as long as one of those 5.5wins comes in the beginning...that 0-10 start last year was very painful to endure
McFadden pulled a hamstring... Considering how he's been a slow healer of note, he won't be available until a quarter of the season has past. Cowboy management are optimistic that he'd be at full strength by the opener. Oh and infamous golfer John Daly predicted he'd crack $2K yards. I thought that dude went sober. Helu will be a specialist but I read that Reece shed weight so that his talents could be better utilized as he was told.
We might not have one back dominate touches, but I hope LTM gets at least 180 touches. Happy to see Reece and Helu both get 50+ touches. We have weapons, and they must be used.
True... Pass wise with the additions of Cooper, Crabtree and that TE from The U plus a strengthened O-Line...no reasons Carr won't be less effective during his sophomore year. He has a slew of targets to pick and choose. Murray should be able to put up better numbers. I am intrigued as how offensive coach Musgrave will balance both aspects of the offense. The defense will also benefit not having to be out there a majority of the time...getting gassed. Tice has talked about establishing then sticking with the run game to hog the ball. A reassuring change from the instant panic then abandonment from the coaching crew of last season.
Unlike the unproven then underwhelming coaching regime we had before...yes, this is refreshing to hear. Now it has to be translated onto the field. Even with Streater on the mend [again]...good to hear Crabtree is providing stability as another wide-out. I'm more intrigued as to how Tice will engage our running game... Keep the defense off field and control the clock. Norton will be or should be an upgrade over Tarver overseeing that side.
Aldon Smith...impact defender for San Fran got cut today. Would I want the Raiders to take him? No. So far, 3 DUI's, the airport "bomb" stunt... Talent doesn't mean it trumps stupidity every time...
