i'd do it; was hoping to get goga cheap this summer, but orlando had other ideas.

not sure if they'd do it even for our first, though. he's been excellent for them.

We’ll find out in about an hour and a half. I am not opposed to keeping Maxi as he’s a good role player. Probably depends on what trade opportunities come up today before the deadline.

He's not playing any time soon
Just trade him if that's possible

1 on 1 trades are hard. Then you add that us and multiple teams can't take more salary and becomes harder. Finally, we want to keep the roster spot open and the 11mil range is a nice contract to have for future trades, better than split in 2 players, so that option is no good for us too. We might do it though if 2 nice players can be had

Thybulle is interesting. His offense is atrocious but we have plenty offensive power. He could be the type of guy whose minutes would fluctuate more for when we need someone to hold Shai, Ant or something like that. It's a type of player we don't currently have, with Gabe being the closest version

Don't follow other teams and no one seems to give a crap enough about him to put up any highlights so went looking myself. These are recent 24/25 on offense and the guy is power forward depth for the squad seems a lot better than Morris IF he can make it back by the playoffs. Sounds like if everything heals properly he'll be evaluated around end of March to possibly start careful training again. 33 years old but his game on offense doesn't rely on athleticism and he can still fake and drive or pull up inside on closeouts at 6'10" 240lbs. Another actual NBA level rotation player with great size. Glass half full ME .... I say he definitely has a shot at being available by the playoffs if his surgeon was worth a poop. :giggle:

he's been good at times for them, but he's been hurt a lot. mavs fans complained that he got really reluctant to shoot over the past year or so, and that's hurt his value on offense. but he's tough and smart and big enough to play some smallball center. he's also been able to be on the floor in the playoffs for 15mpg, which is all we'd need.

i just don't think he'll have time to get ramped up physically and get used to playing with the new teammates/system.

AD was the goat in that game, missing FTs fouling 3 pt shooters in crunch time
