I'd trade both of our two way bigs, or Hayes and the 2nd rd pick for Musa Diabate.

tbh, though, i think we're probably good at pf, as rui, lebron, luka, DFS, and vando can all play there.

the only hole i see now is another guy who can defend the perimeter. maybe a quicker complement to gabe. not sure if he's out there available...

I'm greedy, I'd grab and stash the kid while he might still be had for cheap. He won't be for long IMO.
Lebron is gone soon, I wouldn't waste time playing Luka at 4, and I like Rui(if he's still here next season) as a 3.

 

Went through the trade machine this morning to look for options and there aren't many. Maybe we can turn Kleber, 2nd, and a pick swap for Thybuille? Cap experts, does that work? Thybuille makes $25k more than Kleber. Is it just 2nd apron teams that can't take on $1 more in salary or 1st apron as well?

I'm playing fast and loose with our remaining pick swaps since they only mean anything if Luka gets hurt that season.

 

I’d be surprised if they trade Maxi. He is a glue guy whom Luka likes and has great floor chemistry with. I get the injury. But he has Jared Dudley intangibles - and can actually play. Keep him and look to the buyout market for that last piece.

 

I'm good with getting back Lonnie Walker if we can't find a SG that fits the bill.

 

I'd pass on Lonnie and look elsewhere on the buyout market. He's been pretty bad overseas, but I guess beggars can't be choosers

 

Where’s he going to play though? We are pretty set for PF, so unless it’s back up center minutes? Was shooting horrendously prior to his injury as well.

 

Yeah we have his friend DFS and just traded for a center based on the type of guy he wanted. Don't think Luka will be too bummed if we turn a hurt Kleber into a guy that can actually play and increase our chances of winning this year.

With all these trades can the Lakers get a guy a possible buyout guy like Bruce Brown? Need someone to replace Max on defense. DFS and Vando are there but their both forwards and Gabe is so small at time. Need an in between defender
