OK on the surface I wish we didn't have to include Dalton here but hey, we got a LEGIT 5 that is the perfect fit with Luka!! LETS f***ING ROLL BABY1!!!

 

Trade thoughts and comments:

-Go home deadline! You're drunk. OK fine, at least stay out of the West.... seriously.

- Suns are kind of f***ed. Beal knows they don't value him at all. Nor does any team for that matter, regardless of the NTC they couldn't find a team who wanted him. They didn't get their dream (or nightmare? ) target in Jimmy. Why were they so desperate for him, I'm not understanding? Then when they realized that wasn't going to work, they decided to shop KD. Without checking with KD, it seems. Great plan! Getting to the 5 yard line to send him back to GS when he told them, the f*** you are! So now one of the moodiest players in the sport is also going to feel unwanted. And for what? None of their plans were going to improve them.


- Butler is full of s***. First it was, I'll go anywhere. Just get me out of Miami. Then, I'll go anywhere but this team, that team, that team and no to that team too. Then, I'll only sign the extension in Phoenix. GS stupidly called him on it and now are rewarded by paying him $60m for two years. If that's the prize, what's behind door number 2? Props to showing Steph that you're trying. But...

They would've been better off with Kuz or BI. Jimmy vs Dray is going to be a disaster.


- Does anyone love long wings more than the Raptors? They eventually grow up and leave the nest but that's gotta be the reason they went for BI. His arms are like 10 feet longer than Brown's. The change of scenery should be good for BI. Wonder what else NO sells off. Keep in mind we currently can't be in the market for buyout Brown, we'd have to duck under the apron. But a lot of teams did that this week and I don't like that.


-Jonas to Sacramento. So just the hell with defense at the center position? Got it. He made less and less sense for us as the season went on. When Luka arrived, that option flat lined.


-Kuz to Milwaukee. Similar to BI, change will be good. Can we wash the stank of losing and Poole from him though? How many days will he need to pack up the most ridiculous wardrobe in the NBA?



-Where do the Hawks pivot to now? Cam Johnson? reroute Middleton's plane? Rui?

 

We traded Dalton?

 

OH s***! After they gave up Richards so they could give Williams the minutes he needed, I didn't think that was a remote possibility. It was thrown out there on some of the pods today but seemed doubtful.

That's for a pretty terrible Hornets team so that's pretty impressive that he can lift them up in that way.

I'm super hyped man..i cannot believe we pulled this off and we were able to keep EVERYONE basically that's in our rotation (when fully healthy)

That's a solid 9-man rotation...and there's a chance we're not done as there could be some players on the buyout market (Bruce Brown? Schroder?)

 

Don't watch Charlotte at all, but he looks legit center
In 25.0 minutes per game this season, Williams is averaging 16.0 points, 9.8 rebounds, 2.5 assists and 1.2 blocks.

Will have to do some more digging on this Williams kid.

 

Had to work on our quota situation, so this was not unexpected.

 

hope williams can stay healthy, or it'll really make losing knecht suck

 

He and LaMelo were supposed to be Charlotte future

 

Picks are worth very little with Luka here. The fact that maybe Charlotte didn't see we got Luka and extended a contention by a decade is the only way this happens.


Also worth noting: we opened a roster spot

 

Wow! I was saying since the Luka trade, you don’t punt this season away and wait to rebuild after Lebron is gone.

Lebron will be the best 2nd option that Luka will ever play with (unless we get Giannis). Mark Williams solidifies us at center with a legit big man. Good interior defence, great screen setting, will finish around the rim. This is an A+ trade deadline I’ve never seen anything like this.

Where are we at with the buyout market? Can we sign anyone if they’re bought out? There’s an off chance one of Bruce Brown, CP3 or Schroeder gets bought out. We could use some guard help from a shooting and/or defence point of view. Bruce brown would be perfect and maybe put us over the top.

 

No more Pelinka hate lol
