He literally is an all-star though, he made the team. He averages 21, 5, 5, and 2 steals per game, he’s damn good. My main point was to laugh at the Clippers though, they traded a decade+ of those guys for essentially a Kawhi who could be done at literally any moment and an aging Harden.
Every time I hear an announcer say “SGA is going to be the face of the NBA one day” just gives me the warm and fuzzies.
They know it’s over, as far as relevance in LA, likely as far as contending. Their fans know it, their players looked shook maybe for the same reason. Luka has given them fits, and now he’s sitting there on our bench, they saw us fading away a bit into a rebuild, and that ended in an instant. Balmer has his fancy new arena, but we have the superstar, he’s got an aging Kawhi and a fat Harden, he’s got to be pissed as hell, it’s fantastic.
How about that stat for Kawhi Leonard: 241 games played and 199 missed for the Clippers! He’s missed 45% of his games with them. Now that’s street clothes.
Leonard is a dead man walking lol. He is not a superstar in the NBA anymore. When I think of him, I think of crashy knees.
World Spotlight …. not Toilets! But keep the kids in the parks playing basketball with the nice backboards and always nets on the rims. So they can grow up to be LAKERS!!! The gloom must be THICK in Clipper land.
Ooooffff the Clippers def looked shook. They've been good this year, like really good, and mostly because they had two guys play above their expectations in Zu and Norm. But unfortuantely, their "stars" have not been great. Kawhi is a shell of his former self. Harden is still very good, but he's not an all star (even tho he was chosen as one) and he's wildly inefficient with 21-8-6-2 on 39/34/89 splits. I mean sub 40% is REALLY bad espeically when it's on 15.8 attempts a game (which he hasn't shot since 2021/2022 in BKN). The clippers just don't have anybody that they can truly build around...and I think LUKA was one of the guys they were ognna target in 2026 and now he's with us lol. Clippers are esssentially in the same boat as the Mavs...they are a good team, and they will compete for 4-6 seed but theyre not going to go further than 1st round at this point...maybe 2nd round at best. If the Clippers were smart...they would trade Kawhi Leonard before tomorrow and really shake s*** up. He's not really helping the Clippers and he's never going to be worth his contract at this point.
How can they trade him? Where? He's owed over 100 million over the next couple of years. It's a horrible, horrible contract. I don't know what they need to attach to that, to get rid of Kawhi.
They have an awesome scoreboard, countless toilets, and lots of space to hang all their “Won the Season Series vs the Lakers” banners though
