I like Claxton. We need a rim runner and protector at center, look how Lively played with Luka. He loves the P&R. Vuc makes no sense.
I'm also on for Rob Williams. I don't like his health but would role the dice as I believe it won't take much to make it happen. In the few games he may be available, he's a game changer like Vando. We still would need to get another center.

Really? I had a feeling when he sat out against Cleveland. If this is true then he just needs to retire and go away. Weak mind. Should be embracing the confidence the team just put in him to lead a title run. Couldn’t lead Boston or a stacked Nets team.

 

Aside from the wonderful nickname, time lord is a game changing defensive player when healthy. If we could get him for seconds I’d do it. I’d love Claxton and Williams both. Bring Williams on as a 20 min player like Vando.

Not sure how likely getting two centres is.

You could do Rui + Gabe for Claxton. As for Williams, I suppose you can’t trade Kleber yet but he would have been a good option salary wise, but I don’t see why Portland would do that deal without draft capital and we only have a single first.

 

latest word is portland asking a lot for williams. strange to me. guy barely plays. i'd want to get off him if i were them, and you'd think they'd learn their lesson after demanding two firsts for grant and now not being able to move him for anything. if they'd have accepted one first for him this summer, i'm guessing we'd have made that move and regretted it (he's having a down year).

wonder if there are any smaller moves like the clips did for eubanks out there. i'd still like sharpe, but again it sounds like his price has gone up. also, adding luka means i'm probably looking at rangier centers who are vertical threats and can defend out away from the hoop. wonder what boucher costs? and yes, capela now makes more sense than vuc, imo. atlanta just lost jalen johnson for the year--would they be interested in rui as a stopgap? oh wait, just looked at their books, and if they move capela, i'm guessing they want minimal salary in return.

 

I thought Time Lord is at 22..anyway 1 of them will be fine but Jax would do well with Luka I would think
