    my pet theory is that he thought he was going to win mvp early in the season but when cleveland pulled ahead of them and SGA moved into the frontrunner position, he realized he wasn't going to and lost some motivation.

    lots of win in the cookie commentary today, but this shot at us was maybe the funniest.

    boston's win last year (and potential win this year) was SUPER important, because they're about to be in big trouble. their salaries next year are at 226 million without horford on the books. maybe horford does them a solid and signs for nothing (i could see it), but he's going to be 39 and like holiday, his production has dropped off this year for the first time in a while. it's quite possible that horford and holiday (the reasons boston won a ring, mind you) are just saving it for the playoffs like some vets do. and they can afford to in the east. but if they're not, the door may be shut on them, as you won't be able to trade holiday on that contract, and horford can't keep doing this forever--plus there's no route to a horford replacement with the vet min. horford's playing like a 20+ million player, tbh.

    anyway, this is definitely part of why the owner is selling, imo. he doesn't want to be the guy who has to make the tough decisions and/or deal with the decline. because unless danny ainge does them some sort of favor or something, it's downhill from here.

    Is it just me or is the string quality awful? Super oversaturated.

    Frame rate on Trutv is worse than the stop motion claymation.
    It’s like Potato Vision.

    SSN from the Crypt on DirecTV “dish” feed always looks good for me but TNT’s game feeds from there are a step above. Beautiful. Am assuming “string” was streaming from whatever service.

    AD was gale force on D tonight. TJD doesn't have a lot of post moves, but he's not that bad.

    GSW got good games from Podziemski and Wiggins. GPIII wasn't bad.

    Hornets fan: it’s so ridiculous. How the arena is basically overrun with Laker fans.

    I’m watching at home and one of the keys to the game is to quiet the crowd. Wow.

    i live (somewhat) near charlotte, and when i canceled league pass i thought i'd just catch some random hornets games when i could, and i can never find them.

    they've almost got it: if we traded rui for kuz, nothing would change. kuz isn't worse; he's just...in washington. like rui was. like pj washington was in charlotte. some organizations are just bad.

    and i imagine this at the heart of the fox situation in sac. i'm sure he'd like to be a folk hero there, but...it just doesn't happen in sacramento. even fox has to be marveling at vlade divac saying that he was right not to draft luka because fox played the same position and was better at it.
