We will probably end up with washed Vucevic, if Rob makes a trade at all for a C.

He's not washed ,but we probably won't need him since we have Koloko. And Vucevic will go to GSW and they will eliminate Lakers either in playoffs or play- in

Surprisingly the Bulls beat Denver the other day with both Vuc and Jokic playing. We're better than the Bulls.

LeBron at MSG the last decade:

    27.0 PPG on 60.5 TS%
    6.7 RPG | 8.6 RPG | 1.0 BPG
    9-1 team record

The Los Angeles Lakers' City Edition jerseys for the 2024-2025 season, known as the "California Destiny" uniform, debuted with a 1-9 record

The trade deadline is fast approaching, I doubt Fox gets moved before it unless the Spurs are serious about playoff experience for Wemby. But surely you must move Jimmy Butler.

Also you assume the Nets, Suns, Hawks, Pelicans, Warriors and Bulls at the very least are trying to actively make something happen. It’s super quiet at the moment with less than a week out. So I imagine the behind the scenes is action packed.

Don’t feel super great about the Bogdanovic noise. At his best he’s a good 6 man with passable defence that’s going to attempt about 7 three pointers at the 37-40% mark and create a little on the side. This year has been a considerable down year for him, so I’m not sure he’s much better than Gabe currently? Maybe a change of scenery helps out, I’m sure it’s better playing with AD and Lebron than Trae and spare parts. But if his shooting doesn’t rebound back (lakers curse) it would be a downgrade.

I get the lakers thinking though, get some volume shooting and another player who can create their own shot. In that respect dalton has been disappointing on the shooting side and he’ll see his mins effectively go to 0 if we get Bogdan.

I’d still prefer a starting C that can spread the floor a bit. Vucevic seems the most likely, but Chicago management overrate their assets considerably.

This will probably be Pelinka's biggest move before the deadline.

yeah, though i espouse a "lakers reversal" more than a "lakers curse"--bad shooters do better here, good ones do worse. but bogdanovic is a good shooter who suddenly turned bad...not great that it happened at his age, as that muddies the waters on it being a random downturn and makes it seem like maybe his legs went.

definitely not on the top of my list of trade possibilities. if there was a move that sent rui and a vet min out and netted bogdanovic and sharpe in return with minimal draft capital going out, i could live with it.

we just had the best game of the season considering we were without AD and NYK are ring candidates and have their best team in 50 years.

I'm kinda leaning more towards not messing with our current chemistry and just making a lateral move for a veteran but serviceable backup center like Drummond

who can we get packaging Wood and JHS and another vet min?

Not going to lie I'd love a Capela and Bogdnavic move.

Boggie is another Reaves like players whose tough, can shoot, can playmaker, take the ball up the court.

Capela is a nice traditional rim rolling center

Basically fills both needs the Lakers have and gets two guys who will be able to play big minutes in playoff games
