Dayam he's getting off the ground nicely on that layup with NO effort. Off one leg.

How about tale of the tape with regards to Julius banging bodies with Biff when it happens. Not talking basketball, you can certainly add that if you want, I'd love to read the opinions. But just banging bodies and speed and coordination, this should be a hell of a match up right away. Biff's an athletic beast but so is Julius, same height and you have to think ..... stronger?

Julius Randle?    Shirley you're kidding. This guy is an alpha beast mentally and physically. (eye test) I adopted the term from LGL, lot to be said for it.

I wouldn't get too upset about it. Randle's leg injury probably got us Russell.

LGL. Man...He was so spot on about Clarkson. He got so much s*** from everyone for pretty much everything he posted...ever. Now that he deserves some credit, he isn't around to receive it...mostly because his IP address was likely blocked from Lakersball.

Anthony Davis might have something to say about that. Lebron is still one of leagues best but I feel he has declined somewhat since his Miami days at the moment he still in his late prime stages. I do think his days as best player in NBA are over with, he's still a great player don't get me wrong.

I believe that the thing that will make the Lakers a surprise this season, at least to people that don't follow closely, is the versatility of the line up. We have the athleticism, skill, size (big or small) basketball IQ to match up with most anyone. Once the young guys get some experience.. going to be fun.

I'm not going to get too far into this in the wrong thread, but LeBron is still the best player on the planet. Anthony and Curry and Harden (and hopefully Russell and Randle) are coming for him, but it's too early to give anyone else that mantle. Way too early.

I don't think he is currently but Lebron has solid argument.

If Ron is impressed with your strength, you're doing something right.

High praise from both Ron and Scott, hell. ..really from everyone around him this past week or so. Can't wait to see what he's able tu do when the games begin to matter.

Ron should be retired by then, bring him on the staff and his son can force his way here.

There's some good holdovers. Tim DiFrancesco knows his stuff as a trainer.

Besides the story is more dramatic than it sounds. He told them he might have hit it on the bed or something. Nine times out of ten that's a contusion and it goes away within a week or two. If pain persists, you get an x-ray, but if Julius was trying to tough it out then what are they going to do?

If anything this tells me that a) Julius likely fractured his leg before which aided to the break in the game and b) Julius is a tough dude who can handle a good amount of pain. Which in turn tells me that the Lakers need to send him in for tests any time he complains about pain because his pain threshold is probably pretty high.
