6 in 8?! 3 sets of back to backs?! Nuggets and Bucks part of that pairing... TWICE!

That's going to be f***ing brutal.

Ya know... if Fox goes to SA, there's a potential (maybe not likely) path to this this happening via buyout

Bron ties, JJ is a brother, LA is where the family is and he's been saying he misses being away.

I guess the prices on Vucevic and Valancunas are about to drop by the weekend.

This team is full of daisies and tulips. No talent infusion will help them. They are trash at the core. Sorry lady and gentleman. This entire franchise is scum on the side of those storm drains in neighborhoods across the country.

That loud mouth sellout JJ Redick playing a f***ing no talent bum in the first quarter because his daddy told him to play is the most entitled, embarrassing display of sports I have ever seen. I have never seen the highest league of a sport cater to someone’s child to actually contribute when that player barely belonged in college. Just unreal what I saw tonight.

    Here's available PG
    Part 2:ADeyeshift:
SALT LAKE CITY -- Isaiah Thomas showed he is still a potent scorer, pouring in 40 points Tuesday night in his return to the NBA G League.

A two-time NBA All-Star, Thomas was activated by the Salt Lake City Stars on Tuesday and shot 13-for-28 from the field and had eight assists in their 122-115 loss to the Valley Suns.

Latest on Butler from Stein last night:

    Elsewhere...
On Buha's post game pod following the Charlotte game, he said he's also heard our interest in Jonas has dipped. But also said that doesn't rule him out at all just because of how easy it is to make the salaries work. If he's the least likely but only attainable one come deadline day...

again, still don't think indy gives us turner at almost any price, but...

this is a totally reasonable stance. we hoped to get valanciunas or vucevic cheap, but their teams were holding out. so we explored a more expensive (and better) option.

not sure it matters if valanciunas's price drops, as we'd basically need to move gabe, vando, or max for him, and i'm pretty much out on all of that.

i do think the price will go down on both, though. they'll go for 2nds.

Shame Brogdon doesn't make MLE money cause then you could talk me into Rui + Wood and a couple 2nds for Jonas and Brogdon. If we miss out on the big fish.

Rui's the trade piece unless you're getting a PG back and with salaries I don't see that anywhere really. UNLESS the CP buyout gets more legs under it.

On the big front, one name that I'm extremely curious as to why there's been zero talk league wide: Capela. He was one of the hottest names in the summer with regards to bigs who might be on the move. Okongwu took his starting spot recently, so naturally that's when the Hawks or his agent would start putting rumors out there. Crickets. Do Hawks have something lined up, but the other team told them it's pending a bigger fish isn't available but you've got to keep quiet about Clint?

The silence is deafening when every other big across the league in a similar spot is being rumored on every trade blog/ site daily

per my post above...what does "easy" mean? we'd either have to stack 4 (!) minimums to get there or move a more valuable player than valanciunas.

anyway...why are the spurs considered the obvious destination for fox? did i miss that he prioritized them? because if i'm houston, i want him, and if i'm sac, i want to trade with houston (for green and whitmore, specifically). oh wait...just realized green's contract extension hasn't kicked in so he's poison pill...yikes. bad timing for houston. if this was the offseason, they're the obvious destination.

still not sure i deal with SA if i'm sac. they have no players to offer, and sac needs players not picks. sabonis is a perennial all star right now. he needs a running mate (really, two). SA has none to offer (i'm not a vassell believer).

    i think brogdon's cooked.

yeah, landing cp3 for nothing would be great.

he's been trending down for a few years now, imo. and he's an expiring, which probably isn't great for us (i think we want guys who expire after next year, ideally). add that we'd need a third team to take rui (hawks are overloaded at the 3/4), and i don't see it as likely.

but i'd watch for capela's expiring to find its way into some of these multi-team deals that are going to be necessary to move butler, fox, and ingram.

I think he mainly wants to go back to Texas. Probably prefers the Spurs org and playing with Wemby but I doubt he'd pass on the Rockets given his ties to that area.

yeah, i just don't see what they have to offer. they've got a boatload of picks, but most of them don't look great. minny's 2031 and atlanta's 2027 are probably the most appetizing. you don't want any of theirs cuz wemby (and if you're trading them fox).

i guess sac can try to find a third team that is willing to give up an allstar for a ton of picks? not sure who that would be. maybe sac gets ingram and some of the picks, the pels get some of the picks and a lesser spurs prospect or two (branham, wesley, etc.). just feel like a 1-1 SA/sac deal doesn't make sense for sac.

i'd love it because it takes sac out for a while, and we need less competition in the west, lol.

Stein and others were saying yesterday that the leaguewide suspicion was that San Antonio was the other team besides Sacramento that Fox would consider signing with in 2026. If Fox takes it a step further and tells Sac that he will be signing in SA and nowhere else in 2026, then it turns into taking something meh from SA or losing him for nothing. But it seems like he hasn't done that yet, so I think he probably stays in Sac at least through the rest of this season.

trade deadline in 8 days? Seems like it's coming fast, but that's good in a "s*** or get off the pot" kind of way.

Tired of hearing of "might trade". Do or do not do. Do something. Do it now.

s*** is going to get really ugly in Sacramento. I love it!

If we were to pull off a Kessler trade and preserved Rui's salary, my next call would be to Sacramento. Rui, Wood (or any min) + two 2nds for Monk.
