We suck, we’ve had no bench all season and that remains true. Why Rui hasn’t been moved to the bench for DFS to balance the scoring, so he can just have a green light there is beyond me. We beat the Nets without Cam Johmson and Cam Thomas by 1 point.., and of course we lose to the Clippers. If the FO doesn’t bring in some help soon this season is going to get away from us quick. I don’t see Vando fixing a whole lot either, but I could be wrong, he doesn’t score and he’ll take minutes from Rui or DFS, so… yeah

DFS needs to be in the starting 5 ASAP. Need to stack wins this month.

    I'm getting frustrated with Rui.

The bench is not good.No scoring and no rebounds.we have seen this movie for 2 1/2 years now.It wasn’t good then and it isn’t good now.I have no confidence in Rob.

clips sit kawhi and zu and lose to bulls at home.

our record should be adjusted for the difference in difficulty.

lol somehow after all of our d****** losses...we're still sitting in 6th place and all the teams behind us keep losing. The one team that has been winning and on a TEAR is the Sacramento Kings...and we happen to own the tiebreaker over them lol

Only 1 game back of 5th seeded Clippers (but same amount of losses), and 3 games back of Denver who is 4th (but only 2 back in the loss column)

I want us to start blowing some teams out because our net rating is pure s***. Can't remember seeing a team as high up in the standings as we are right now this late in the season with a negative net rating of -2.6....usually those are lotto bound teams with that net rating.

In any case...I really hope we decide to move Rui to the bench...DFS has to start at this point otherwise it's kind of pointless that we got him. He fits way better with the starters and the bench could use a guy like Rui going off.

it's weird that our net rating is so bad but our bpi projections are actually pretty good.

in fairness, three games can account for like, our entire negative net rating. we just completely rolled over in those games and lost by a zillion. nobody rolls over against us, so we can't get the random evening out that other teams of roughly our caliber get.

again: the clips sat guys against the bulls. if anyone did this against us ever, we might notch a 20+ win, but they don't.

I honestly was thinking about this the other day when our record against winning teams was being discussed. The fact that teams rest their guys to be ready to play us is absolutely a factor in those games. We’ve always gotten the other teams best shot but it’s been egregious and over the top the last several years.

Is there a stat that follows this? Like the opponent's average % of healthy / available players?

Should be … they have one or just create one for every other obscure thought in some geek’s head about the game.

I just cancelled spectrum, couldn't justify $275 a month. It will suck not having spectrum sportsnet anymore.

I don’t know if this is a possibility where you live, but worth mentioning in case you weren’t aware of it, we used to be in the same boat, but do you know if you can get Spectum Choice? It’s $30 per month ($50 after “fees”), but you get to pick 15 channels (we have the basics, Spectrum SportsNet, ESPN, TNT, TBS, FS1, NFL Network and some others, CBS, ABC, Fox and other random local stuff is included) and you just stream on the app on any device instead of having a cable box. We don’t have Spectrum internet, so we don’t get as many other free channels as we possibly could, but if you pick them right you can cover pretty much every channel that shows all major sports. Again, don’t know if you already looked into this and it wasn’t an option, but if it is it’s a great option to be able to keep SportsNet.

Weezy are you able to add extra time when scheduling recording or have games run as long as it takes them to finish in those game slots? I tried DirecTV streaming for like 2 days because the most basic package with SSN was less money than same with the dish, though nowhere near that low. But the image at large size sucked in comparison to my dish signal …. and nowhere near the quality of all my other streamers, and the killer was no option to add longer record times.

You can’t record with this package, it’s just live tv streaming and some on-demand stuff. But for $50 to watch the Lakers, Dodgers, and have those other channels and some others of your choice it’s totally worth it for me. The image quality is fine, nothing amazing, but fine, it’s probably 1080p (using the Spectrum app on an Apple TV 4K), but it looks pretty smooth overall even on a 75 inch tv. But yeah if you need to have a DVR this for sure wouldn’t work for you as it’s just live streaming.

I just have spectrum Internet now. They did mention the app option. Can you log onto the Sportsnet website and watch games that way?

I’m not sure about that. I just know with the app you can watch it on any device, like I’ve watched some on my phone and tablet before when my tv died recently before I got a replacement.

Unfortunately I'll have to go without laker games for a while. It just costs too much. I called spectrum and watching games from the app is $75 a month.
