Avery Bradley had a decent career. Frank loved him. The kid was the 55th pick in the draft. Lewis has been here for two seasons and still hasn't shown much IMO.

    Do your thing Jr!!

he is basically the exact same size (in terms of height/wingspan/length) as avery bradley, but was 30lbs (!) heavier at the same age.

Yeah, the numbers are stacked against him, but I’m not counting him out. Like Abeer, I discounted Pippin Jr because he’s vertically challenged.
The potential is there to become something in between Avery and Desmond Bane(listened at 6’5” but looks closer to 6’2”).
Also Marcus Smart is listed at 6’3” but could easily be 6’2”.

smart was measured at only a 1/2 inch taller than bronny, with an inch of standing reach and a couple inches of wingspan. so, similar but a little bigger.

bane was 6'4" shoeless at the combine, but he has short arms. still has a couple inches of standing reach on bronny. of course, he's very different, as he was a much, much more polished offensive player coming out (as was smart). then again, both smart and bane had more time to develop and neither had major health issue that interrupted their development.

anyway, there's precedent for guys bronny's size to succeed in the league, even as non-pgs. there's obviously a very long list of players with his measurables who don't make it, of course. just that size alone won't be the reason.

i actually think he's just not quite the athlete that some of these smaller successful guys are/were. hoop iq is there. ball skills are meh; shooting will come, i think. big question is will he have the lateral quickness to play top-flight nba guards.

“I try and get as much on ball reps as I can, because that’s what my main role will be in the NBA”

Yeah …. from afar it seems pretty evident to me that in spite of the proclamations when we drafted him that he was strictly an undersized 2 hoping to make it in the league with his strength, hopefully enough athleticism and good defense plus knock down catch and shoot 3s …. and in spite of others saying no court vision to play at the point ….. he was getting a ton of time doing it in the G-league. Would be such a greater fit if he could get up to “good enough” to not hurt you in select minutes coming off the bench as a PG. Cue the haters but look how he has grown and his Pop’s favorite thing …. STATS.

    :D

With Max arriving …. this year, NOT “too far off for our timeline” and Bronny showing quite “Obviously” that he DOESN’T have “zero” chance of being an NBA player …. that’s 0-2 for OX and we’re back in “drink the juice” too territory. Too ready to hate too much on too many players. IMO.

OK 20 questions time. Well a few at least. Where did you settle back there? Have you bought something already? Had you ever lived in the COLD before San Diego area, and regardless of that answer …. how rough have these latest cold snaps been on the family?

A small town called Richmond Hill outside of Savannah. We bought right away in the #1 option neighborhood. It’s very different: tons of trees, walking trails, lake system throughout neighborhoods to kayak and fish in, small harbor with dry dock storage, tavern, gym, small general store, resort style pools, and more.
The weather is usually humid and warm with the summer months hitting 100s. This crazy snow is not normal- last time it snowed here was ten years ago. I don’t mind the snow. The crazy storm at the end of summer was gnarly knocking town hundreds of massive trees and causing power outages.

Ooooh good on you and your family …. sounds lovely with lakes and all. Will check the video later. Just quickly dropped in but am furiously raking leaves in my back yard in case it rains hard enough so the water has a way to drain being on a slope.

Thanks, man. Yeah, our last house in SD had zero drainage so my side yard and part of backyard would pool up.
