Ballsy effort without AD and really no other big.
Makes losses Detroit frustrating as hell but there is a real solid team here with a good coach

even tho we lost to detroit...didn't reallly lose much ground in the standings and the win today certainly helped a ton while Denver alos lost again and they got Cleveland next so hopefully we can take control of 5thseed

Also...IF Luka is out for any number of games with that injury he suffreed today....I suspect Mavs will also stumble into the 5th-11th seeded pile of teams that are all equal...so then 4th seed will also be up for grabs

Have to agree with this, really hope they can see there is still potential with this team and try to make us better

We are going the defense route and I see nothing wrong with that. Must make some games more pleasant to follow, getting stops and being more physical. Cam and DFS can be a nightmare for opponent's stars

Best thing is we did it early, saved the FRPs and the team can gel faster. It also sends a signal to other players like Rui, be physical and defend or you're out

It could be worse, at least we aren’t Phoenix, sitting outside the top 10, losing to a very short handed Memphis team. All their stars are playing and they still lost, and they have no tradable assets other than those stars and are above the 2nd apron and have to deal with those restrictions as well.

Phoenix should just go ahead and blow it up honestly. Start getting some picks back for guys. Booker will definitely get a haul.

Today is actually not a bad day other than embarrassment by Lakers.
GSW, Phoenix and Denver all lost

yeah, makes it sting a bit more that we were given a gift and just set it on fire, though.

we don't have a big enough lead on those teams right now. we'll play more good teams later (including many of them). the difference between 4th and 12th in the west is 4 total games right now. that's amazing. it's not unexpected based on pre-season projections, but it's still wild. you'd have thought that more teams would have had some sort of misfortune drop them, but really only new orleans has had that happen.

so i guess the optimism is that we're 1/2 game out of 4th? i just don't know that anyone would put money on us being the ones who stay healthy enough to climb and stay there.

I prefer us to finish 6 or 7 and play the Rockets or Grizz than getting the 4th seed and being eliminated by Denver again .

Keep losing , not too much , but keep losing !

PS : Nuggets are not a serious organization with Saric and DJ as Jokic backups

yeah, true. the young teams are more likely to fold in the playoffs, especially when they'll be heavily favored.

i get the gamble. jokic is never hurt, and if he is, they literally can't beat anyone ever. why invest in a backup?

if AD wasn't fragile, i'd get why we never invested in another center. but he is...

To be a little less bad when he has to sit 8-10 minutes a game ? ( they do miss Gordon defense too though ).

I still wear knee high athletic socks in honor of him

I wear them with my German sandals while mowing the lawn too. Don't @ me.
