Nice to see him get a big game under his belt during his first roadie, at that. I want him to get more reps down there. I don't think most account for just how much of a setback the cardiac arrest was and the reset/ramp back up that takes. That or they hate pops so much, they don't care.
The kid could have died on the court a short time ago. This is a great story, even though, his father is the hated Lebron James. Do your thing son! I'm pulling for you!
OX is going to skate with the olives and juice with Vando and Wood less Lakers not getting close to 20-10 but I think if Bronny is a rotation player in the NBA in next 2 years …. he ought to do the same for all the short sighted hate he’s dumped on him. If by next year he can also put the jar you know where. just yanking your chain big guy.
Junior sucks a**. He will never be a real NBA player. All this media trash towards him is adding more reason why no one is watching the NBA lately.
He doesn't suck a** considering what he's had to come back from a year and few months ago but he's short so will have to really make progress to make up for it, which he IS doing and has strength on his side. If he becomes a "rotation" player drafted from the 55th spot then yeah with all your hate you deserve the olives and you and I will be even for Mozgov.
hard guy to be in the shadow of but let's focus on what's important. Does he has any kids yet? We can be the first franchise with 3 generations that played for it. Do it kid.
Nice. He’s coming along. Under control while he gets up to the speed at this level. Looks like he’s got the “practiced” but also good genes passing skills from Pops which IS going to allow him off the bench in good match ups to play the point some, where he’s going to be able to also use the “bully ball” actual strength genes from Pops. I’m calling it now …. off the bench rotation player (some) next year …. and olives and the juice for OX for the blind hate.
Nice work filling up the stat sheet. Looks much more comfortable and confident on the floor. Shooting % wasn't there but checked all the other accounting stats.
By next year that guaranteed extended contract is going to be looking good. He's already showing more than JHS did last year with the passing, athleticism and glimpses of the wrecking ball he's going to be against players his size and few inches taller. Those ups are starting to really pop. Don't look now but this was not a wasted pick. I'm a fan and rooting for him. The improvement is obvious.
? https://stats.gleague.nba.com/player/1641720/?Season=2024-25&SeasonType=Regular Season look, jhs has been a huge bust, but he actually played quite well in the g league last year--much better than bronny and even better than olivari has played this year. despite all his failures, i'd still put jhs's chances of long-term nba success ahead of bronny's.
It’s the “glimpses” I think that I’m referring to. Some of those really great passes, the pop starting to show in better athleticism than JHS. That was such a disappointment to many here watching him play with the varsity, and I admit I didn’t watch much of JHS in G-League, nor Bronny for that matter. JHS has size on him for sure but as said above I’m a fan rooting for Jr.
yeah, i just think you have to squint harder to see bronny's future success than you do for jhs and olivari, and none of them have clear success in front of them, imo. but hey, i was dead wrong on lil pip, so who knows?
He looks solid. I think the biggest thing going against him is his height, if he were 6’4 - 6’6 he’d be the perfect size for how he plays. But at 6’1, he’s an undersized defensive 2 guard, it’s really hard to make it in the league at that size if you aren’t a scoring guard.
