Per Stein: Team to watch in the DFS sweepstakes is Memphis

Elsewhere Riley tells Butler he doesn't care what he wants and he's not going anywhere until this summer

    Charania don't know s*** lol:LLLLLebronlaughing:
Lakers have 26, 28, 29, 30 and 31 picks But they cannot give 3 picks. they can give only 2 for example 29 and 31 by the rules you can’t trade the first round picks for 2 consecutive years.
The Stepien Rule prevents teams from being without first-round picks in consecutive years.

He may mean pick swaps. I think the Lakers can pick swaps more draft picks now as well.

Well I guess, technically the 2027 pick could be traded with the condition that it is in the top 4. If it's not in the top 4, it gets conveyed to Utah.

It's not been bad but no one had worse talent to start their career then Lebron and he had two MVPs and a finals appearance and he was so depressed he pulled the Decision after year 7.

Luka maybe ain't Lebron but he should be able to get somewhere into the Bird territory and hes career ain't tracking that

I’m only taking on Zion if WE get like 4 seconds back.

again, bird had very good teammates his entire career. never had to carry junk. individually, luka has performed better than bird over the first 7 years of his career, despite being younger. pretty sure that had he been playing alongside other mvp-level candidates for the entirety of his career, he'd probably be a bit shinier right now.

Dlo,Gabe,JHS,Lewis, 2029 1st (top 13 protected), 2031 1st (unprotected), 2025 2nd, 2026 2nd to Brooklyn for Johnson, Sharpe, and Wilson works. Then sign a free agent back up point guard with the open roster space. Sure Gabe has been playing well, but at least we get the financial incentive of not paying 11 million for a back up PG, where we could just pay the minimum.

Phoenix Suns “Actively Shopping” Jusuf Nurkic In Trade Talks
D-lo for Nurkic would work just fine
Jusuf Nurkic's salary is $18,125,000 for the 2024-25 season.

I'd really like for us to make this happen. Vuc gives us a legit stretch 5 to work with AD.

i suggested this in the summer, but if the suns--who need a center--want to dump him...do we want to pick him up? if the suns thought they could help us, would they? would we want to risk helping them (say dlo pulls his head out of his a**)?

if we can just move dlo/wood/2 2nds for vuc and just sign a vet min backup pg, i'm ok with it.

i'm really wondering how committed jj and the front office are to bringing in a center at this point, too.

lots of praise for rui and max being guys that are buying in defensively to make things work--do we want to shake up the lineup now? can you pay 20 million for a non-starter on our team? if a center doesn't start, does it really save AD's legs much?

Why? We don't need a starting calibar center, we only need a back up.

If Adam Silver would pulla David Stern in his prime move it would be get Fox on the Lakers and Lavine on GS. Now that would be a WCF people would watch

i think it depends on who you ask. if you ask AD, he'd have said and would still say we need a starting center.

If Kings keep losing, i wonder how soon we start to hear the Klutch machine push for Fox to LA.

I'm curious as to what they want if they don't want to pay him. You don't have Sabonis and DD on that deal if you're even considering any kind of rebuild.

How about all our trash to the Kings for Sabonis? Hell we'll even throw in Quincy?

Jonas has a defensive rating of 115.5 and the league average for centers is 105 per 100 possessions, so he’s not even league average.

there's no point getting another big body just for the sake of it, if he plays the same defense as Christian Wood.
