He passes like Magic Johnson, and now he has become a very good shooter. He is an exciting player to watch. But, yeah he has been with a smaller market team for his career, you would think he would be less known.

I would give up one first and a bunch of seconds for Kessler.
I like Cam, but wouldn’t do a first based on his age- he doesn’t fit with a rebuild timeline.
I have mild interest in Sexton.
Zero interest in Kuz, Ingram, or Lonzo. The first two are way too expensive for what they bring and I will never trust Lonzo’s ability to stay healthy.

With Gabe looking more like his Miami self the last few weeks, I'm not sure swapping him for Valanciunas is a net gain anymore.

Even Bronny or s***tino can play instead of Gabe, but Valancunas will help Davis no question

keep thinking about how dallas nabbed gafford and pj washington last year and really changed the way the team played to great effect. is there anything out there like that this year? i'm not sure, as most guys on the market are older and/or more offense-oriented.

For us i think that'd be DFS + a functional big. Whether it's Jonas or Sharpe or someone else, either type works. JJ can figure it out. Just a big who's good enough to log 18 minutes, gobble up rebounds, matchup against at least one type of center, and prevents it from falling on Rui and Bron when AD sits. JJ doesn't trust Koloko enough and our backups we're paying may not ever get off the injury list. They're trade fodder and nothing more.

The back up big has been a no brainer for most Laker fans, and their most valuable player going on two years now while Rob still doesn’t have a clue.

We need a big and a two way wing. Nothing has changed at all in that department since the summer. Get it done Rob. That’s on you. Sure it takes two to tango but we need to step it up.

Nice, don’t really want the big stiff that can’t play in the playoffs with 2 more years on his deal. Would have been fine signing him for no assets with LeBron giving up that money, but not for players we actually need at the moment plus draft picks

Rob's a tool. He'll get us another guard and then act surprised we suck. Probably Woods and Vanderbilt's fault, couldn't assess the team properly...

I get the desire for a big: we need one! Jonas has not been very good for awhile now.

i think if either of max or gabe had continued being a steaming pile of crap, we'd have moved one of them for jonas on the 15th. but they woke up just in time to save their jobs.

i'm still not loving the players i'm seeing available--not even cam johnson (who i like!), really. just don't think anyone really fits what i think we need most (perimeter athleticism). we need a djj type. or i guess, vando.

Accomplishing the same thing Slick wanted to with his Wiz and Bulls trades, but with a diversified skill set and MUCH cheaper, I'd be good with a 3 team that netted us DFS, Sharpe and Jonas. Giving up only expiring money + Lewis who's very cheap and still a "prospect."

    DLO and Lewis to Nets.
JHS and our two center corpses.

5 for 3, clears roster space and enough $ to add a FA.

Gabe is playing well enough now where DLO can get lost.

Since you're giving up expiring money for longer deals, Jonas should only cost you one second round pick and the Nets package either 3 seconds or a HEAVILY protected first. I'm talking top 2 protected then it conveys to seconds.
