No to Fultz. He is another street cloth and never healthy .He was 1 st pick overall and C Bags actually trade him to Philly for Tatum and he average less than 10 points and like 4 assists. We already have Gabe he can do that

Fultz makes sense if they're planning to move Dlo and Gabe.

That's the point, these other teams aren't really that damn good, and the degree of separation amongst the teams in the West, isn't some friggin huge gap at all.

That's the reason there hasn't been a repeat Conference Champion, since Golden State with KD. The Dallas Mavericks, won't be breaking that trend this season either!

You can rant all you want about the CBA, every friggin team in the NBA, is bound by the exact same CBA. That's not going to stop teams from making moves, to try and improve their roster at all. The Warriors just showed you that, and I don't expect them to stand pat after that one.

The trade I proposed, costs a total salary obligation of 30M, we have multiple options available, to be able to match that number. I don't think it would cost, some kind of King's ransom of draft assets, to get it done either.

Adding a legit starting 5, that has consistently avg double doubles, shot at a high clip from 3, proven to durable in playing 30 min a game, and has actually shown up, for the majority of his career, and has played the bulk of every season, for most of his career. WTF is wrong with that? The cherry on top is , if you look at thier shot charts, he does all his damage away from the area, that AD does his! Since they seem to be practically intent on giving Valanciunas away at that petty as 10M salary, we might as well grab him to be the backup 5 too!

Jeanie, Rob,the roster decisions of late etc. Yeah, I can feel you on that. However the season isn't over, and the clock starts ticking tomorrow. We'll see what gets done or not. Now YOU can lay down, roll over, stick your thump in your mouth, and toot your a** up to the sky, screaming " All is lost!" But Slick doesn't roll like that!!

This same damn Mom and Pop shop, went out and produced a friggin Championship, after a summer of clowns pickecting the Staple, shouting a lot of the same MF s***!!

I'm going to wait and see what actually happened, before I even contemplate the thought of abandoning the ship! You can do whatever you like!!

Yes but improvement on the margins transforms this current roster too. We shall see what happens. I have zero doubts that something is going to happen. Whether I end up liking it or not, depends on what it turned out to be.

If it was for Vucevic and Valancunas, Markelle Fultz come on down!

Fultz's shot is atrocious, but he is a good stop-gap measure to replace Vando, I guess?

I'm aware of his height and that he is a point guard. I am saying stop-gap in terms of perimeter defender. Vando is the superior rebounder, but we are also hurting in perimeter defense. Looking at his DBPM, Fultz is a better defender than Max, Cam, and Gabe, suggesting he is a stop-gap perimeter defender. Like Vando, he can't shoot, so I hope we are not getting him for his offense.

We can rehash that to death I suppose. Russ didn’t fit here obviously, but if we’re honest the pieces traded away weren’t something special. Montrezl was out of the league not too long afterwards, Kyle Kuzma is an ok player but he doesn’t fit with AD and Lebron. KCP is a good 3&D role player that we lost but keeping Caruso would have offset that.

    Brook / AD
    AD / Lebron
Lebron / Rui or someone better
    Caruso / Reaves
    Schroeder / Reaves

This was a getable roster over the last 3 years and I’m positive we’d have been more competitive with it.

Man we give up 2 FRP and 2 2nds for a washed up Steve Nash. Followed that up, with a Bynum a FRP and a 2nd trade for Dwight Howard.. Traded Adrian Dantley for Spencer Haywood etc. We've made a few doosies

The Westbrook hate just remains strong. It will probably get even stronger, if Denver keeps kicking our a**, with Westbrook talking s*** the whole time. Lol

Are you actually asking why people are more salty over a trade just over 3 years ago than other bad trades that were made 10+ and 40+ years ago?

Is this a serious question? I don’t think this merits any further explanation.

I'm not asking a question at all. I just made a statement. The worst trade ever, is a subjective comment.

This guy Paul Reed has Wood's height and weight, but is his game is the opposite of Wood. Terrific defender and not a great offensive player, but hes decent on offens though.Might be a good signing for us, since we could use as many defenders as we can.

I think that this is very severe underselling how harmful that trade was.
Think of it this way: if you had Westbrook and wanted to get either Kuzma or KCP you would need to add assets to WB to get that deal not just to match salaries but to convince those teams to trade them. On top of that that trade and financial implications clearly resulted in letting go of Caruso. On on top of that all 3 players would be starting on this current Lakers team and yes it was axe to the head

What did Caruso have to do with Westbrook? That keeps getting thrown around, like it was some kind of fact We could have kept Alex, but we simply chose Tucker. It was pretty clear that one of them, were going to go at the end of the prior season, before the Westbrook trade ever came up. It's not really all that shocking, that Rob chose Tucker, because he declined a FRP for Tucker, in a Kyle Lowry trade at the the deadline. And then let Dennis walk for nothing. A guy he just gave up a FRP for that previous summer.

We were already over the salary cap, before we could resign either, Tucker or Caruso, and we still didn't have a PG. Hence the Rus trade. A lot of stuff going on with the team, keeps getting overlooked when discussing that trade.

Why would Montrez be starting here now? He's not even in the League. Correction, I assume that's just you lumping Caruso into that deal. It's real debatable that Kuz is a better fit with Lebron and AD then Rui. Kuz has a bigger contract tho.

^That and it took two firsts as I mentioned before a page before and the opportunity to shop Kuzma and KCP in other deals w/the firsts, but that didn't happen. Also, remember, these two who don't want to rehash or don't want to call it the worst trade of all time (and I don't think this is btw) were the ones defending Russ every single game ad nauseum, lol.

One thing the Westbrook did do, and there's no debate in my mind; it killed the LBJ/AD window. Stuck a fork in it. It died the day that trade was completed. Now, we're over here scrambling to make deals with second rounders and save an aging duo (who's still pretty good) but need a lot more help around them to contend than say 2-3 years ago.

Lebron and AD due to injury, missed most of the time Westbrook was on the team, and in the season prior. That killed whatever window you are referring to, hell they got to the WCF two seasons ago. More revisionist history.

Westbrook was never a good fit; you can't spin it. Their injuries didn't kill the window, the Westbrook trade did along with all of the moving parts. Most people recognize that except you. Should I find your posts again? LOL. Funny guy. Horrible trade, Ray. You can't defend that in anyway.

As for the WCF? I don't give a f*** about that. We got swept out of that, too. I'm about championships. Miss me with that WCF s***

We got mopped in the first rd with KCP, Kuz and Caruso by Phoenix didn't we? Miss me what that oh gee losing those guys ruined us s*** too.

I didn't spin s*** Luca, we wasn't winning s*** with Lebron and AD in street clothes period.

Hell they could have flipped Rus for Kyrie and whiffed on that s*** as well. Unfortunately Tinkerbell blew what shot we had to get to the Finals
