    What are you waiting, Lakers?
Chicago wants to get 1rd pick for Nikola Vuchevic

This was reported by insider Mark Stein.

«After in June they did not get any draft compensation from Oklahoma in the Alex Caruso for Josh Giddy trade, Chicago is said to want to choose in the first round as a result of the center Nikola Vuchevich trade who is having an amazing season . A two-time All-Star player, scores 21.0 points , collects 9.8 rebounds per game on average making 58.7% from 2 points shots and 47.4% on three points – writes Stein.

Waiting for the asking price to drop. I’m on board with a Vuc trade, but he’s not the missing piece away from contention, so we should be out if it costs a 1st.

At those numbers, and at that fit with AD, a protected 1st is a fair price. Sometimes when you snooze, you lose.

I’m not snoozing. I’m in a deep sleep. Future 1sts to maybe be a 9 seed instead of 10 ain’t it.

Then he will go to GSW for Kuminga and rest is history
And if Vucevic would play at 5 not Heyes or Koloko with Davis at 4, Lakers are definitely not 9 seed

Ok, so? I’m not selling our limited draft assets to maybe be a play-in team just so GSW doesn’t trade for him.

Also, don’t forget to add another $12M in salary for the Warriors to make that deal.

I wouldn't prefer Vac or Jonas. We really need an archetype of Derrick Lively on this team.

As it stands, Vuc is the better target, IMO. Jonas will require less assets and the third year of his deal is non-guaranteed. You'll save a little bit of salary if you're able to trade Vincent since he makes slightly more money annually.

These picks are trade assets that need to be stockpiled to trade for a star that eventually asks out. But hey, if you want to trade a 1st for a first round exit at best, have fun with that. I’ll give anyone not named AD, AR, or Dalton, and 2-3 2nds. I draw the line at a 1st.

And Zo is one of the pieces that went out in a trade that got us Anthony Davis, a foundational piece.

I'm not into throwing firsts away protected or not; take a look at the WB transaction. Essentially, it took two firsts (one to acquire, one to get rid of him) to get him to the Jazz.

We'd be in a much better position if we even had "one" of those firsts right now; don't you think? I'm not interested in investing in a 40 year old LBJ and throwing firsts away for Vuc and Finney-Smith. Rob is getting paid over $10 million dollars (guessing), he needs to figure it out without jeopardizing the future of this franchise, which is already in question because of who's in charge: Jeanie Buss.

And 2 of those last 3 guys helped get us AD. Thank you for helping prove the point.

But Jeanie and Pelinka not going to trade because of money .So I would rather watch them to try get Vuchevich or Valancunas and do something in playoffs instead of struggling Gabe or Max

At this point, would rather continue giving minutes to Koloko. Reed is another slim C.

Vucevic and Valancunas, puts us top 4 in the West. The Conference isn't all that damn loaded, we just suck right now.

AD is not some kind of scrub, and the reports of Lebron's demise, have been greatly exaggerated. They just need some quality help. Name 4 teams, that would be better in the West, and why.

You can play those two guys together, and be able to sit both James and Davis, while still being solid, against opposing starting frontlines. Vucevic is the best fit for AD on the market.

I give up on Myles Turner, GO get Nikola Rob!!!
