How do you lose a game where they do this? We got beat by Tre Young, Hunter and the skinny Bogdanovic on a night where they did this, it’s pathetic, it’s almost unbelievable

:D This is so what’s going to end up happening, both franchises won a title then let key players walk and didn’t do well around the margins

If we get Denver in the play-in I lose it ahahaha

But yeah, as bad as we have maximized Bron's window, what Denver is doing to Jokic should be a crime

imo, denver's is way worse. jokic is smack in the middle of his prime, and jokic didn't broker the worst trade in denver franchise history that ate two years of his career.

    Bron's window closed in 2021

We witnessed it in 2023 when he and AD had enough help .. They got swept in the WCF

Yup. With the caveat that the franchise never had a Jokic and probably won't get ever again. I think it might hurt them if they get another superstar in the future

we suck...like we legitimately suck. I would be surprised if we were even a play-in team. our point differential is the most concerning stat to me...-4.2

And on top of that...LeBron/AD are no longer a plus duo. We are losing the minutes that they're on the floor...VERY concerning.

I guess LeBron is finally showing signs of decline...he's still a damn good player but yeah defensively he has slipped A LOT and he suddenly can't hit a 3.

i think we'll make the play-in, and i think the point differential comes from two sources. first, we've got a LOT of quit in us this year. when the going gets rough, we're folding hard. that's leading to huge blowout losses. on the other hand, there's just not enough roster talent for blowout wins. to blow teams out, people other than lebron and AD have to be hitting shots. really, to blow teams out, you need everyone hitting. we basically never have that. that said, we still have more talent (or a big enough lead on

i think we just haven't found the right combination of players to surround them, and that's a lot more difficult than it was four years ago. i still think it's AR/dlo/vando, but we don't have vando. rui and knecht can't defend well enough at either the 3 or the 4 spot to complement that group.

i don't know; maybe if DFS is cheap enough, that's the answer. i just don't think he's a vando-level defender in terms of versatility (we used vando effectively on the other team's best player 1-3). the ideal fit is jaden mcdaniels. we need to unearth one of those quickly, but they apparently don't grow on trees. ironically, we drafted him (sort of)!

i think he was definitely showing them last year, and it's just accelerated a bit this year. he's just not an every-down back anymore, as it were. problem is that you need at least two of those to contend, and we're down to 1 (AD). some nights, we have two. and on a few nights this year, we've had zero. the very best teams have two consistent and usually a third guy (from a slightly larger pool) that can step up and carry weight/have big impact. our secondary pool consists of AR/dlo/rui/knecht whereas boston's consists of jrue holiday, derrick white, porzingis, and horford. the difference is clear at multiple levels.

if lebron wasn't lebron and we weren't the lakers, we'd be stripping the current roster for parts, but that's not how we roll nor how you handle the end of an icon's career.

This team is done unless something drastic happens, but I'm guessing it won't.

As @ElginTheGreat said, my apathy has kicked in, and I just can't watch this team. I listen on the radio or check a boxscore. They're not even fun to watch to me most of the time anymore.

i think we'd be more fun to watch if we went back to what we were doing offensively to start the season.

living on the east coast with children, i don't get to watch nearly as many games as i used to, so i've been spared some of the worst stuff, thankfully.

the current team is still way more fun to watch than those late and post-kobe teams. yikes.

I'm still hopeful for a deal. I try to watch, but its a very quick hook. I can usually tell by the energy of the first quarter if its worth watching or not.

Yeah. Just not staying up to watch us quit on a game especially with the kiddos around.

This team is definitely better than those teams before LeBron and AD though. That was just awful and depressing.

^That's the consensus w/LBJ and AD on the roster. ROFL.
