F That... Showtime24!! What we need to do, is make moves to unleash AD, instead of continuously trying to figure out how to prop up Lebron. He doesn't need all this f***ing help in the first place IMO. Vucevic and Valancunas helps Lebron too, by taking a way some of that load, of being one of the only two guys on the team, that can impart some level of physicality consistently.

The Lebron thing might be the biggest issue, but it would be a worse look to trade him than AD, because he is a top 3-all time player on his last leg. That would make it look like we don't care about our stars. The AD one is more like we could kind of do him a solid by trading him, this situation might be toxic for him. Front office might be hoping they demand a trade. I heard the olan is for Lebron to retire a Laker though, we are almost to the finish line with that one. Maybe that motivates them to significantly improve the roster around Lebron and AD. A LaVine trade actually seems to make more sense now. They just need that fire power man.

AD doesn't need to be traded, he needs to be supported. If we refuse to do that, he should ask to be traded, because obviously we don't know wtf we are doing.

Lebron is about to retire, nobody is trading anything for him period. It would be an utterly stupid move on our part anyway, to think about trying to trade him in the first place.

I like Sharpe as a prospect, great upside on a bargain contract. I like Cam too, but I wouldn't jump on, giving up two FRP for them.

Ideally they would support the guy, but it looks awful right now. Not best to be in a mid situation. All I'm saying is they need to be open minded about it.

At his price, for what he brings to the table, that's a no brainer deal.

There is noise out there about Zion can possibly be had for only 1FRP. I'd jump all over that one too.

yeah, i'd take that kind of swing. don't think 1 1st gets it done, and i think there's no way NO trades us another franchise cornerstone. it worked out pretty poorly for them last time, and i think they're still mad about it.

then again, i think griffin will be fired soon, and it was when demps got fired and griffin took over that we got AD.

Would be interesting with AD. I wonder who would play the 5 more? Spacing becomes a major problem though.

Zion creates spacing because he can't be guarded one on one. That's Lebron at his peak level of attacking the paint.

    Couple random thoughts...

    - on the Jazz front worth remembering: one creative way we have a spicing up an offer to them is we can pull the protections of that '27 pick.

    - Murray would be a prime buy low guy from NO during a fire sale...if only they didn't just sink two firsts and a thriving Daniels into that one. They can't take that much cake to the face. Also cause Zion will probably eat it.

I'm becoming more open to BI. I don't think he's ideal, but I think if there's a way to keep Dalton & Reaves, we have to consider it. "IMO."

I like those comments. Murray would be good, but he is not a superstar, so I wouldn't trade two firsts for him. Unless maybe the trade is expanded a bit. For example, Reaves+ Russell+Vando+JHS+2029 1st (top-5 protected), and 2029 1st (top-5 protected) for Murray + Jones + Green works. Jones is an elite perimeter defender, and Murray is a plus perimeter defender. They are also decent enough shooters to keep defenses honest and relatively young. Murray is 28 and Jones 26. Problem is New Orleans might not deal with us, unless they feel they are fleecing us. This trade is fair though.

I’m buying what Slick is selling. I want us to go after Jonas and Vucevic. Neither one is likely to require a FRP and both would be great for this team: Jonas as the backup 5 with some beef and rebounding, and Vuc can straight up score the ball. Put him in the starting lineup with AR, Knecht, Lebron and AD and how are opposing teams going to deal with that? All those players can score.

Gabe for Jonas, Rui and Wood for Vuc. Throw in second rounders to sweeten the deals.

remember that just one reporter speculated--probably based on valuation from not karnisovas--that it would only take salary matching and second rounders.

the bulls are in 8th place in the east and historically haven't been tankers. they paid a lot for vuc in trade (wendell carter and two firsts) and have watched the magic lap them afterwards. i'm not sure the price named is the one they're really asking.

who's their center if they trade him? jalen smith? christian wood if he ever returns from his knee injury (the bulls really want to deal with that again!).

just saying that i'd be surprised if the bulls are just asking rui/wood/2nds. not their style.

I have no idea what the Bulls want to do. Those dudes broke up a Championship Dynasty because they didn't want to pay Pippen and Phil. Damn Championships. It was all good as long as Jordan was willing to be underpaid. The energy changed up quickly once he started asking for 30M per. Lasted about two seasons in fact.

    They move different.

the bulls definitely move different was also my point. people from the outside look at them as a team going nowhere that needs to rebuild. they've done so for years. the bulls have yet to operate like this for one second, however. thus i'm skeptical about the speculative value. i'm guessing they want a playable center and a prospect (young player with room to grow) for vucevic and not just second rounders.

it also wouldn't shock me if they once again just kept him.
